Sometimes I sit and think about 19 year old Brian Firkus, sitting in his dorm room, dreaming of this. That it's not just a good performance, but that Trixie is literally singing out an experience every gay person suffers through, and that Trixie is doing this in drag _and_ as a sweet southern girl. I feel dehydrated because I just squirted after watching this
Bellatrix Lestrange OMG love. You better get that WAP
I really want her to do a song with Katya - like when they were singing Christmas songs together with Katyas deep voice. I lived for that.
I actually want Katya to drop a Christmas album. I would piss myself laughing. In a loving way.
YESS!!! I WOULD LIVW FOR THAT
literally yes
“This is gay rights. THIS, is gay rights.” - Trixie Mattel
Because THIS gay is RIGHT. 😂👌
Umm... Thank you captain obvious.
"As you can see we're not just ok, we are what, THRIVING!"
It's a form of homophobia really
I- I thought she was a drag queen...-
this version just takes me to different universe full of sunshine and warm sand swinging through the parallels of time and in a tire swing made of sunflowers and hydrangeas.
I have her albums.
I never missed Full Coverage Fridays.
I know she's INSANELY talented but...
OH.
MY.
GOD!
This is beautiful. What an amazing cover of a great song.
I HAVE NEVER LISTENED TO A SONG SO MUCH AS I HAVE THIS ONE

SAME ITS SO GOOD UGHHH I HONESTLY LOVE IT MORE THAN THE ORIGINAL

@@lovedsophia431 I love the hint of country on this, this cover is better than the original for me
everyone needs to comment so the algorithm picks this up
trixie deserves the one million subscribers and the one million v13ws

@@nicholasfactor wdym before? we're living in the present... she deserves it.. and her makeup is flawless

New bio for the dating/hooking up apps right there
I hope Tracy is aware that all the sad lesbians will listen to this song obsessively
Yep 😞🤘
I guess Im a sad lesbian now
can confirm
Add my name as well
They’re onto me!!!
I wish we can see Katya reacting to this since she likes Lana’s music
The faster tempo works well. I like this one better than the original. So pretty.
Ah yes my serotonin I ordered has arrived EDIT: this has single handily saved my 2020 thank you Trixie 💕
THIS is the Trixie I wanna see. You have a gift for storytelling through music, I really connect to your folk style music over all else. Incredibly beautiful! I'm floored.
This is a cover. I agree though
Doc She did make it sound like a completely different story tho , even as a cover
@@doc9448 I'm aware it's a cover, but like "Stranger" off he last album, she has her own personal folksy style she paints a picture with. Both this and Stranger are different than the originals, she tells her own story through the same lyrics.
Trixie does what cover artists should do imo, she shows how she personally relates to the music
I can’t even explain how it makes me feel- it’s all so good. Especially the hook
This is so sublime. You really took the song to a place I didn’t think it could go, it’s already an emotional rollercoaster but your version had me welling up with tears. Thank you Trixie, I really needed to hear this today
I will never, EVER, get over how perfect this cover is.
Well fricking done, Miss Mattel 💖
COME ON DEPRESSED BOTTOMS LETS GET SICKENING!!!!!
I didn't asked to be attacked like this
AAAAAAAAAAAAH how dare you call me out in my own home
okay yes but this is a personal read
YAAAAAASSSS
ok, i'm here to get sickening
I'm gonna tell my neighbour's kids she is Lana Del Rey.
no, that’s Dolly Parton silly
not neighbours kids 😭😭
First of all, its Rey not RAY.
@@Ultraviolence14 oooof
😂
I’ve literally already watched this 8 times back to back and I’m not done yet
I came here because I saw Orville Peck do her makeup and learned he whistled on this song, it's DEVASTATINGLY gorgeous!
youtube getting real comfortable with the double unskippable ads
Way too comfortable.
Lol what are ads?
Premium is worth it.
I was just thinking that, I mean I had time to cuz of the length of the ads
Not you copying another persons comment-
Dude. For real. Every video. Least Trixie is getting PAID lol
