Listening to this conversation lifts me beyond my own sometimes dark and condemning thoughts. The more time I spend isolated without an uplifting word the deeper I despair of the world around me. The uglier I see myself the uglier the world around me. The more isolated the more I become my own god of despair and condemnation. Thank you for the lift so I can see.
Thank you for talking about grief in such a real way. It hurts so badly. So many people don't know. As you talk about how our God is in lfe and love. Can anything be more real and encouraging!!
It’s incredibly painful. I’ve just lost my sister, we were incredibly close, she was far too young, it was sudden. From having a conversation to suddenly mumbling, then nothing ! ❤
Wow!😢It's hard to know what to say!Beautiful story. I'm so sorry that happened to you and family. I think that it's so beautiful that you have each other to lean on.
Father Greg Boyle says “we don’t go to the margins to make a difference. We go to the margins because people in the margins make us different”. And my favorite quote - “ we stand in awe at what people have had to carry rather than judgement in how they have carried it”. Paul’s humility, humanity and compassion reminds me of this. Reminds me of Jesus. Thank you.
Thanks so much for this time you both gave to this broadcast..in particular the inside stories from the inmates on death row..most sound like they have already tasted heaven and are drinking from a well which is washing and watering others..A special thanks also to Brent for the way he listened to all. His heart was present and moved with compassion as Paul told "how things are" thankyou both! Enjoyed sitting alongside everyone who was present in this conversation this evening..❤

Love it! God invites our participation in love. So much to unlearn after 50yrs of untruth. Thank you!

Well said! And I agree with what you said about Paul. After knowing him for the past 15 years, he's as integrous as any person I've ever met!
Wow! Needed to hear this. My eyes are open thanks to you're explaining so much. God bless ❤
