Any information on when we can unlock the Reichsrevolver, Enfield No. 2, MG81 and M-38. If those weapons stay behind supply drops or some armory credit pay wall, then I'm done with this game.
I'm not opposed to them making them earnable a different way. But now that I officially know I won't get my hopes up for drops. It does kinda take the fun out of supply drops when you know the chances could be 0 to get what you're after

I i was hoping to get the Greased II version of the Enfield. instead i got two duplicates and a variant of a weapon i never use. I'm pretty sure they removed the Greased II variant from the loot pool as well.
They always manage to find a way to make things worse when they do something right. The new weapon contracts are great but also worse than the special orders because we actually have to spend a lot of armory credits to get them..
They removed these weapons to have less guns in the supply drop rotation meaning you will get more loot than guns and you would have to spend more money to get the heroics and epics.

But, I have my doubts on Heroics. I would die to have the Wilco II, but it might not happen knowing the nature of Activision. SHG should've made a statement in the first place, talking about how they removed certain weapon variants from the drops, and there is a chance that SHG might bring this up tomorrow in their weekly update, or next weeks update. Shut the fuck up and be grateful that they have produced this extra content. Weapon variants wasn't even a thing back in the day, and those games were just fine. A couple of the dozens upon dozens of variants dissappear, and everybody loses their shit.
They aren't being lazy though. They used to be in common drops only. Now SHG have moved them to orders to make them easier to obtain. Yet people are bitching about it more than being common only? Besides, they don't have to make new ones, and if they did it would take up way too much memory. Currently there are four sets of variants, with epic and heroic versions, for each base weapon. Thats already over 248 variants. DLC weapons only have 3, not including the rare base gun. This is most likely to ensure future guns can be introduced without running out of room.
Damn I have both epic bars so that's pretty good but the people that I've seen with heroics for bars and m1928s they are really lucky I've been wondering why I've never seen these variants

I completely agree with you, SHG not letting us know that weapons have been removed from supply drops it´s a shady practice against their customers but i´m already expecting all type of things from them, they´re just being quiet so people keep buying those supply drops so players can think they´re getting X or Y heroic but at the end of the day you´re getting absolute shit over and over again.
Was gonna open my 120 Supply Drops near the end of the Event. But after hearing this I changed my mind and gonna keep them till this issue is resolved. This is literally Black Ops 3 all over again. Not being able to buy the items that you want but instead have to wait or just have super good luck. So grateful that I got my Dude Up BAR Variant. Although I don't use the BAR much, hate using a Gun which isn't a Variant.
The Warrior no this is worse than bo3, the weapons were always attainable no matter what, hell they still are! Ww2 straight up took out the variants that people want most so that no matter how much money they spend they’ll never get them, not to mention they never even announced what they were doing. A 2% chance is better than a 0% chance of getting what you want in my opinion.
That really sucks. Hopefully they're doing them as contract challenges since half of those variants are impossible to get now since they're not in supply drops, contracts and/or social rank scores
The regular mg 81 is a contact right now, but under this variant it says to obtain through supply drops and collections. Also, the disruptor combat shotgun variant was a resistance variant. They absolutely made everyone think you could get it by earning/buying supply drops.

dinoatcharterdotnet I mean you are probably going to be getting the variant you want in a couple weeks and you'll actually have an easier chance of getting it then totally being random. If they really wanted people to spend more money on cod points they wouldn't have updated the supply drop system and they wouldn't of had these orders. All I want in this game is the Lewis "English Oak" variant, any combat shotgun variant, and/or any p-08 variant....then I saw this video and it made me sad lol.
Master 409: have the epic flyboy BAR variant i’m very proud to have it cause from what i’ve seen not a lot of people have it or any bar variant in general, if they put out the flyboy as a weekly challenge I think it takes away from the rare and cool factors of variants. That being said I like the ideas of variants from weekly challenges but they should keep them as epic weapons only and put the heroics back in the loot pull. I think this is the best way to fix this “issue”. I also think handing the player a heroic weapon is a bit strange although they would have to complete the challenge to get it, I think the challenge for a heroic weapon should be difficult but doable, something that takes time. If it’s just like”Get 500 kills” it almost seems like a handout at that point. That’s just my opinion though!
I‘ve been grinding my ass off to get a m30 valkyrie variant. Its my absolute favorite weapon to play with and i have done more than a half of my total kills with it.. I did every single supply drop contract each day only to get frustrated by not getting even the epic one.. At least now i know why.. Thanks prestige for sharing this information with us! I hope you are right and we can get the removed variants through special contracts

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe that if you completed the special order about winning 85 matches after the one about 100 matches had expired, your original reward of two epic weapon bribes were upgraded to two heroic weapon bribes. In both of my supply drops I received a heroic weapon, and a random epic uniform. I may just be lucky, idk.
I’ve gotten Combatant ii from bribe(from recent bribe order). But I’ve had Wilco ii since launch. I have 63 heroic weapons total. No bar, kar, p08, Bren and combat shotgun.

I find this very strange. My first heroic weapon was the m30 Triple II but since then I've never gotten another variant for the m30 or any of the weapons listed except the kar98k. Two weeks ago I got the heroic variant Fallen II for the Kar98k in a supply drop. Not getting a variant for most of the weapons is the reason why i have not used them. I definitely suspect they were removed. I have the Landship II (Lewis), Battleaxe (Combat Shotgun), Nightmare (Kar98k) and Adlertag (P-08) all from supply drops I distinctly remember opening months ago....
Can we address the fact that now even if you fill out your Resistance collection by earning the items in supply drops, you cannot collect the collection final reward? I have the magnum fully completed but cant collect my final item for that collection, the pistol itself. I understand that Sledgehammer wanted to pressure how much time people can actually buy those collections, but now we cant even access the collections due to the event closing, even if we have every single item in the collection completed.
Sledgehammer: we are going to be transparent and provide constant updates to the community. Also sledgehammer: Remove everything. Shhhhh. No one will notice.
Like Little Johnny, I've specifically been looking for a Bren variant since launch. It's the only launch LMG (meaning before DLC weapons) that I still have no variant for. Guess the dream is shattered for the time being.
I got two normal heroics in regular supply drops and was screaming please be the fallen two and just watched this after my grind and now I'm not to sad about my shackman 2 and infantry outfit
Prestige, the guns you listed are the guns which the variants can only be obtained via common supply drops. If not then I’m wrong and I take my statement back, but I know for sure the bar and combat shotgun variants are common only
I definitely got the English Oak (Epic Lewis) about twoish weeks ago. For sure at least toward the end of resistance at the absolute latest. But I havent gotten any of the other variants listed in a long time, so it still seems very credible. Also, I've noticed my heroic weapon bribes have always given me a heroic for a weapon I already have at least 1 existing heroic for. Maybe it's bad luck, but really does kill my vibe haha.
Also most guns don’t have all their variants, every single gun in the game has 8 variants: [Using PPSH as an example) -Chrome/Wood Finish Variant (The Snake I/II) -Gold Variant (Thrive I/II) -Funky Flashy Variant (Iron Curtain I/II) -Green Variant (Duck Soup I/II) The only guns I know that have the complete set of variants are the Type 100, MG 42 (there may be others)
Ever since Michael condrey and Glenn schofield left sledgehammer shady things have been going on with the supply drop system just as you said before, they first locked the enfield no.2 and richsrevolver behind supply drops and now they did it to the m38 and mg81 it looks like after they left sledgehammer is going back on the cosmetic only promise and the worst part is that you tubers like you and Nero called it
So other thing I have not heard anyone talking about is the lack of XP boosters now. They made duplicates less likely so this means I no longer get any XP boosts, that kinda sucks.

Thats weird because literally last week i got a heroic M19 ( springfeild) in a supply drop.
I definitely suspect they were removed. I have the Landship II (Lewis), Battleaxe (Combat Shotgun), Nightmare (Kar98k) and Adlertag (P-08) all from supply drops I distinctly remember opening months ago....

Can we address the fact that now even if you fill out your Resistance collection by earning the items in supply drops, you cannot collect the collection final reward? I have the magnum fully completed but cant collect my final item for that collection, the pistol itself. I understand that Sledgehammer wanted to pressure how much time people can actually buy those collections, but now we cant even access the collections due to the event closing, even if we have every single item in the collection completed.

Like Little Johnny, I've specifically been looking for a Bren variant since launch. It's the only launch LMG (meaning before DLC weapons) that I still have no variant for. Guess the dream is shattered for the time being.

I got M1928 Wilco II , Combqt Shotgun Catchpole and M30 Luftwaffe Valkyrie .
I got two normal heroics in regular supply drops and was screaming please be the fallen two and just watched this after my grind and now I'm not to sad about my shackman 2 and infantry outfit
The only thing I’ve wanted since November 3 is the snake 2 variant to use chrome camo with it.

I use the combat shotgun almost exclusively. I haven't gotten any variants for it yet and I hope that'll change here in the future.
They better add that delicious Wilco II to orders...
Prestige, the guns you listed are the guns which the variants can only be obtained via common supply drops. If not then I’m wrong and I take my statement back, but I know for sure the bar and combat shotgun variants are common only
I definitely got the English Oak (Epic Lewis) about twoish weeks ago. For sure at least toward the end of resistance at the absolute latest. But I havent gotten any of the other variants listed in a long time, so it still seems very credible. Also, I've noticed my heroic weapon bribes have always given me a heroic for a weapon I already have at least 1 existing heroic for. Maybe it's bad luck, but really does kill my vibe haha.
Also most guns don’t have all their variants, every single gun in the game has 8 variants:
[Using PPSH as an example)
-Chrome/Wood Finish Variant (The Snake I/II)
-Gold Variant (Thrive I/II)
-Funky Flashy Variant (Iron Curtain I/II)
-Green Variant (Duck Soup I/II)
The only guns I know that have the complete set of variants are the Type 100, MG 42 (there may be others)
Last month my friend got the triplet during the resistance event. So it’s not before it.
Ever since Michael condrey and Glenn schofield left sledgehammer shady things have been going on with the supply drop system just as you said before, they first locked the enfield no.2 and richsrevolver behind supply drops and now they did it to the m38 and mg81 it looks like after they left sledgehammer is going back on the cosmetic only promise and the worst part is that you tubers like you and Nero called it

So other thing I have not heard anyone talking about is the lack of XP boosters now. They made duplicates less likely so this means I no longer get any XP boosts, that kinda sucks.
I don't have roxy anymore, it was like the first variant I unlocked and now I don't have it anymore (my dad has roxy 2 now though)
Omg I had my eyes on one of the Bar variants and I did the Heroic Weapon Bribe twice and also the Epic Weapon Bribe looks like I did that for nothing
