Those 2 boys are just incredible and little Adia is so confident . Shes just growing up so quickly. Banff is spectacular . What a beautiful place in this world!! Thank you for sharing Eric!
Loved touring Banff with you, it was beautiful. Loved the family pictures, especially the one on the Sunshine sign. My favorite part was watching Adia crash, her laugh is infectious and I loved, "I didn't lose my poles." Thanks for taking us along but I really need to plant my garden so I'm ready for the snow to go until next year..
What an AWESOME family vacation reminds me so much of my childhood!. All the kids are really skiing great this year. Adia's footwork,.turns and confidence are so GREAT! I love how Luca is really going after it this year and not only challenging himself on those bigger steeper runs but seeing that he can accomplish them. August, if you are not a sponsored pro skier by the age of 14 I would be utterly shocked. Your skiing this year is off the charts bud great job! Stay safe and have fun! 🤙
Great that you made a longer video! I‘m already misssing the ski content and looking forward next season. Also amazing that Luca was just ripping it with a cast! Greetings from Germany.😀
Planning a first family trip to Banff this coming winter and this was the most helpful video I've seen yet to give us an idea of what to expect, thanks for sharing your wonderful ski family!
Banff is absolutely amazing. I've always been more for hiking over skiing (never been too good at that), but living a few hours away, made for quite a few trips to/ through in the past.
Великолепное весеннее катание. Радуюсь за вас. Я закрыл этот сезон 29 апреля рядом с вулканом Вилючинский. Ждём следующий сезон, а пока готовлю велосипед. 😊 🙏
You guys give so many good tips and ideas we've gone on. Next time we visit Banff we'll be checking out the gondola up Sulphur. Been a half dozen times, and never done it. Keep up the good work!
❤ always great to catch up with you guys on the vids! Your kids have such strong resemblance - no way they can deny they’re siblings!!!! August was rippin’ ! Luka is definitely on August’s heels and Adia is my guru! I’m going to continue to channel her approach to the slopes (albeit as a grown woman myself!) You guys are great!!! Keep up the wonderful parenting!!!❤
Adia is so cute and adorable and yet she's cheeky and nutty and playful and confident little munchkin your two adorable little boys are so awesome and amazing and cute too 👍👍🙂🙂
SO cool to see Luca working his way down some pretty big slopes with fresh snow without sticks; when kids are as proficient on skis as he is it's so good to have them figure out balance without rescue sticks, he's going to be so loose and fluid 10 years from now when he's dropping cliffs that are going to scare the #@*& out of you dad. 🤐
We did a day at Louise 2 weeks after Fernie closed, and that's the end of the season for us! We really did enjoy the feel of the resort. Perhaps we'll do Sunshine again next year!! One of the first places we skied the west. Norquay was first. Ps. I do like Norquay's cafeteria. How were the falafel wraps? Looked like you had the resort to yourselves. Gotta love spring laps.
@@ThatMountainLife🧆 👍 Love it. Darnedest thing, I had an amazing falafel wrap in Pincher Creek yesterday. The things you can find in the most unexpected places.
If you can afford it - Sunshine Mountain Lodge is an incredible mountain immersive experience with a great beginner/learning area just outside the hotel.
Norquay gets my vote for best resort in Banff. It's consistently steep and most trails run top to bottom so has longer runs than the other two even though on paper it's a shorter mountain. Sunshine is misleading, if you leave out the ski out trail and Goat's Eye Mountain you only have access to half the stated vertical and it's a small, crowded mountain and the line for the only access to it stretches forever in the am. Lake Loise is better but you spend all day slaloming around the posers and cork sniffers standing all over the mountain.
Haha love your assessment. Our mid-week trips in April have hands down made me fall in love with Sunshine. The elevation keeps the snow nicer, there were zero crowd and we have had fresh powder both trips. The dive is pretty fun to explore and the many parks are awesome no matter where you are skills wise. We have never been to Norquay when all the chairs were open and it was peak conditions! Night skiing with a park that close to Banff would be an awesome time. If one can afford it, staying up at Sunshine is an incredible ski in/ski out experience. When the lifts stop spinning, it’s quiet and pretty surreal up there. Honestly, I think anyone visiting should try the ski big 3 card and visit all of them. They all have something to offer. I appreciate your take. Thanks for commenting. 👊
@@ThatMountainLife I admit I haven't been to Sunshine in about 12 years, it looks like they have opened up more terrain on Goat's Eye. I was there a weekday in Feb. and the line for the gondola was an hour long before they even started loading. Not even a pow day. It does stay open latest in the spring though. I always got the Big3 pass but split my days between Lake Louise and Norquay. Those long steeps at Norquay are my favorite runs in Banff. Lake Louise is huge and the mountains are accessible, lots of lifts from the base. Sunshine has just that one choke point. Marmot Basin in Jasper is a nice resort and recently expanded, I haven't been there since but I think they have opened up more expert terrain along the lines of Delirium Dive. Cheers.
I love your videos and seeing your family doing things together and everyone's skiing is REALLY impressive! But could you and the boys get a haircut soon? You'll all be so much cuter and you'll get even more subscribers! hehe JK. Sort of.
I wish you could bring your family to Vail for a trip ! I am lucky enough to teach kids snowboarding at the LionsHead Village. I am older but, I believe I have a good track record of teaching a quicker system. One of my 4.5 year old students 19 years ago went from never ever to level 5 in 3 days of lessons. He, Blake Moller was the #1 rider in the FreeRide World Cup Tour in 2022 at 22 years of age. What do you think ? Thanks, Mark
Ahhh, Adia. "I didn't lose my poles," while covered in snow and giggling in delight and triumph. What a sweetheart!❤
Yeah Adia is so cute and adorable and contagious little girl
Those 2 boys are just incredible and little Adia is so confident . Shes just growing up so quickly. Banff is spectacular . What a beautiful place in this world!! Thank you for sharing Eric!
Watching this again well into September missing skiing such a classic video tho 😃
August is so confident. He amazes me!
Your kids make it look so easy !!!
Love watching them ….
And you’re not so bad yourself Dad !! 🤣🤣
Adia has improved so much in the last year it won't be long until she'll be skiing with the boys.

Wonderful trip. Boys' jumps are coming along. They all have huge confidence.❤
You are a wonderful family ❤❤❤❤
Amazing footage. We were there the same time.
Good job on a long format! Sweet trip!! Loved the still shots of August and the boys look amazing on those big features!
Thanks Irene. It took a while to put this together.
Thanks!
No, thank you! I appreciate the tip.
This is the life I crave! Love your videos!
I cant go skiing here this season because i broke my wrist but this is 100% one of my favorite places to ski

Our family was there just a week before you went and feels like we didn’t explore the mountain as much as Adia did. 😂😂😅
Great Great Great !!!!! Greetings from Poland !!!

Let's Go Canada!

We are going to Banff next week thanks for all the helpful information 😊
We’re currently back at Sunshine now! It’s awesome!!!
If you like Norquay - you will love *Norway*

The wraps were honestly awesome. And yes, hardly anyone there!

Great video! Where would you recommend staying in Banf with kids learning to ski? Sunshine Resort, Banf, o Lake Loiuse?
If you can afford it - Sunshine Mountain Lodge is an incredible mountain immersive experience with a great beginner/learning area just outside the hotel.
How do you take such incredible footage?!
Different action cameras from Insta360!
Aaah. Powder. Can't see your skis. Can't see the terrain. Fun!
Adia looks like she has grown a foot this year..they are all getting so big
you should go to the gondila at night bc its free and beutiful
I wish I could ski with Aida because I am okay at skiing and I want to meet all of you😢
I can never tell the boys apart lol. Is August in the orange or is it luca?
Luca is in the orange jacket
Thank you lol

We actually just did get chops all around. But we like both short and long hair.
Rocking Helly Hansen eh?
Yep!
