What a wonderful video! As an Eastern Canadian, it was a great snapshot of what the West has to offer. I hope Jasper recovers quickly. I hope the new kittens are doing well!
I live in Vancouver, and have done the road trips amongst Jasper, Banff, Kananaskis, and Waterton Lakes, as recently as this September… Your video makes me wanna go again! I never get tired of it
Thanks for this video! That last part on th3 boat trip was awesome. Something I didn’t get to see when we did our 1996trip to US and Canada. Banff was very different. Was bears around the town. We went to Calgary Stampede and Sulphur mountain and did see the view. Canada was very beautiful I loved the Us too. So very expensive now!
I'm new to your channel. We have been wanting to go to Banff for years; just hasn't worked out. Now we are planning for next year. We had thought it would be too much work to do it ourselves and had been looking at guided tours. But after seeing your video, we think we could do this! Thanks for all the great info.
Yes! You can do it yourself! If you want to visit Lake Louise and Moraine Lake, make sure to book your shuttle accommodations as early as possible. They are in high demand and can be hard to get. See our article for more information: wereintherockies.com/get-from-banff-to-lake-louise/
Thank you so much for the video! We are planning an RV trip to Alaska and the goal is to hit this region of Canada on the way up. we traveled to glacier this summer to celebrate my retirement from teaching. It is such a beautiful area and you do a great job teaching people how to experience all the beauty, love the videos.
What a wonderful family! I’m new to your channel, coming all the way from Bangladesh, and I must say, this video is fantastic! I really enjoyed it and found it very inspiring. My kids also loved watching it with me. I’m definitely going to take notes on this trip and hope to experience something similar with my family. Keep up the great work!❤
Wow, what a wonderful trip I haven't been to that area but seen a lot of picts, it is a gorgeous area if Canada what a shame about the wildfire, hopefully they will rebuild soon, glad noone died, your children are so lucky, traveling to all those beautiful places... Have you been to the Albuquerque Ballon Fiesta is really nice.....stay safe on your travels
Just tuned in to see if relevant to an upcoming Vancouver to Yellowstone road trip, Banff though beautiful looks a bit off the beaten track. In your Banff chateau hotel feature, you mentioned Queen Elizabeth has stayed there. In fact it is Queen Elizabeth, ‘first lady’ to King George VI, Rex, standing to her left. Since 1953, she was referred to as Queen Elizabeth, the Queen’s Mother. Easy viewing, nicely done. 😎😇
I’ve been watching your videos for quite some time, and they helped my partner and I plan our trip through Utah this past fall It’s been really neat to see you in our backyard, but I can’t believe you didn’t like poutine. That is classic Canadian cuisine 😂😂 Hope that Canada treated you well!
What a wonderful trip. Thanks for bringing back memories for me and my wife. Just a little note, when you were visiting the legislative building in Edmonton you mis-labelled the painting of Queen Mary as Queen Victoria. Queen Victoria was the mother of King Edward and Queen MAry was his wife. Again. So enjoyed watching this with my wife.
Thankfully but Unfortunately, 30% of Jasper Townsite burned down. The Townsite partially reopened last week. The wildfires are under control in the National Park. Was this trip from last year? I remember watching most of the video from earlier this year. When going to Banff, we always by-pass Cal'n'Gary. I prefer Jasper over Banff. 👋🏻 from Alberta, Canada.
We stayed in Lobstick Lodge (Jasper) and Banff Gate Mountain Resort (outside Banff). Some of our followers say Solara Resort, Hidden Ridge Resort, and Cascade Chalet are great.
Hey Guys. Is there anybody that lives in Banff or Canmore? I am from Germany and iam in Canada right now with my classmate. We are doing our work and travel year here and we wanted to stay in banff or canmore this winter to work there and see the National parks. But its soo expensive. Can anybody give me a few example for a cheap place to stay or a place where we can work? Thx in advance.
I'm watching and I'm at the gondola and I notice you have a cloud. It sucks I would love to have a beautiful clear, sunny day, where everything's crystal. Clear you're and it's funny because that happened to me in Switzerland when I went to see the matter horn. And we get there and the matter horn. The whole entire area set for one side was nothing but a cloud. I was going to go back down the mountain and give up. But I did not. I went in had dinner expensive spaghetti dinner $22. But the whole hunter side of the mountain that was cloudy cleared up. I got beautiful pictures. I got pictures of eagles flying around and the big crows. And I got awesome pictures of. The matter worn and go figure the next day. I came out of my hotel room onto the balcony and I'm not lying clear as day the matter horn. And it looked like it was golden. Grace brown, the Sun was shining on it. And I'm not lying. You could literally felt like you could touch it. It was a better luck than being up on the glacier. Go figure by hope everything clears up for you guys. I'm still watching awesome so far as always. I envy you.😂❤😮😊
Yeah, the cloud was disappointing and is one of our mistakes on the trip but we still had a great time. I'm glad you got some great pictures of the Matterhorn.
I like your videos, but my hometown pride is forcing me to do one tiny fact check. The world’s largest easel is from Altona MB, not Alberta. So I don’t think you went there 😆 I can see the mix up. It’s about a 2 hour drive from Winnipeg.
What a wonderful video! As an Eastern Canadian, it was a great snapshot of what the West has to offer. I hope Jasper recovers quickly. I hope the new kittens are doing well!
Thank you, and we hope Jasper recovers quickly, too.
The Canadian Rockies are absolutely breathtaking! This video perfectly captures the epic beauty of Banff, Jasper, and beyond. 🏔🚗
This area is one of the most beautiful I’ve ever been to!
It really is!
What a refreshing family and video. You guys are always having fun. Thanks for visiting Canada.
Cheers from Yukon
Thanks for watching!

Great video guys, probably the best I have seen of the area. I have been to this part of the Rockies and so nice to again see the places I visited.
Thank you!

We have not been to the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. Sounds fun, though.

Absolutely gorgeous! Thanks for this fantastic video 👍
My pleasure 😊
Wow. Going to make note on this trip and hope someday we can do that.
I hope you can.
I’ve been wanting to go to the more center area of Canada. This gives me some ideas.

What was the company used for the Bow River float adventure?
We used Rocky Mountain Raft Tours
Here's an interesting tidbit, did you know that same Canadians who own the West Edmonton Mall, also own The Mall of America. Hmmmm
Good Banff beautiful nice looking

Slug? I think you meant snail?
Mate, you missed the best parts from Banff and Jasper… it’s golf courses.
