Kathy Lee is a great singer. She's never gotten the recognition she deserved in that regard. A pity her singing career was so overshadowed by her other activities.

I've seen Neil diamond twice in concert, I took my young son to see him a while back and my son said he didn't want to go but my son wasn't really aware of Neil diamond then once Neil diamond started the concert my son got on his two feet and he stayed up dancing the whole entire time, He was so happy it was so nice to see him so happy..... I always tell him that story how he said he wanted to go home but then once the music started he fell in love with it ❤️💜🥰🥰🥰

Always loved Kathy Lee Gifford! I was so sad when they replaced her with a Kelly Ripa and then a Kelly managed to get rid of Regis. It was a wonderful show when hosted by Regis and Kathy Lee.
REGIS retirement was HIS idea, babe! And, KATHY LEE leaving was her own plan. Her kids didn't want her talking about them no more. KELLY can blab about hers all she wants, but they DO get miffed if shows too many pics.
Oh, goodie... I get to tell the story. :-) Neil and Barbra each released this song as a solo. The program director for WAKY-AM, Gary Guthrie was getting divorced, and his soon-to-be-ex-wife was a big fan of the song, so he went in the room, as we say, and turned the two recordings into a duet. She loved it, but more to the point, it got on the air, and fans went *mad*. Guthrie had some label friends run it up the flagpole, and both Neil and Barbra loved it, and went in the studio to rerecord it as a duet. They performed it live on the that year's Grammy Awards (video also here on TH-cam), and it went all the way to #1 on American Top 40 -- and the second week, Casey played Gary's mix instead of the label release. SADLY, she admitted recently that UNTREATED PNEUMONIA from flu, or such, DAMAGED her vocal chords and lungs just enough to ruin her pipes for singing. She still can, just not as good.
