Such memories. I waited on him at a 5 star hotel for a few days out at the pool in Az around 1995. He asked if I was going to see the show that night. I mentioned saying I’d love to, but sadly I didn’t have tickets. He pulled 2 front row tickets from his wallet and gave me a hug. I was thrilled! It was a rotating stage and as it turned during one of the songs, he pointed at me smiling and dedicated the song to me. I’ll never forget it.

We will "Remember You" N.D., seeing your Broadway musical, A Beautiful Noise, andlistening to your classics & newer music you are writing. Source, Anthony Mason Interview, March, 2023. We love you Neil Diamond !
Well, it is not letting me edit...the Anthony Mason interview was on CBS Sunday Morning (USA-you can play back episodes, or Google the interview), around the end of March 2023, where Neil shared from the heart. It is very sad. He was so humble about his plight. I was hoping he could go on with touring in retrospect, wondering before, if he even had plans to...and he sure did. Also, that he could go into his 90's like Burt Bacharach. So many of our music, movie & Broadway legends are crossing over; we all know if they are blessed with long life & continued success, the time will come...but being famous doesn't make us immune from the struggles we all have in life, but in N.D.'s case, I sure wish it did.

An exquisite voice, beautiful lyrics, peppered with soul. I still get chills thinking about the time Neil and Barbara sang together on stage, singing You don’t Bring Me Flowers.

Neil was always my mom’s favorite so I always loved his music as a child. And when I met my future wife Neil was her favorite too so I loved his music even more.
