- Lots of things can go wrong on live television. And sometimes, hilariously so. But this is NOT a video about those times. Oh no. This is a video about the times live television captured terrifying moments that sent a chill up our spines. Because when it’s live… you know it can’t be edited or special effects. These things really happened. And that’s HORRIFYING. These are the 20 scariest things caught on LIVE TV!

Poor Pinky was a very scared cat. He was trying to run for his life.
I think that officer was agitating Pinky, so Pinky doesn't like it and freaks out.
Pinky thought that he was going to be arrested and like to fight with the officer. Officer should be used to fight backs..

I used to have a black lab and 2 cats who were sisters. Whenever we walked the dog the cats would come with us. There was a nice bike trail through woods near our home. Sometimes the cats would explore the woods and catch up with us on the way back but one day one of the cats failed to meet us.
Luckily she had a tag on her collar because soon the phone rang and a man said 'I have your cat.' We couldn't just say let him go so he can come home so we got directions and drove to his house.
The nice man was waiting outside for us. The was a smallish, but very fit muscular man wearing an electric blue Speedo and flip flops and smoking a big cigar. He was holding two very long leashes. On one was a tiny white chihuahua and on the other was our small black cat with a very annoyed look on his face.
You could use a shorter explanation with each clip, your dragging it

Australian weather presenter, Steve Jacobs was known for his comedic antics during weather reports & in case anyone missed it; it was Steve who was freaking out over the rooster as well as the pelican.
Yea being an Aussie myself, I've seen both of those clips before. I used to watch Today most mornings

Don't put a cat on a leash,if it's not use to it, and especially if it doesn't know you. Just asking for it.
I walked my cat on a leash. I introduced the collar and leash as a toy we would play with. She liked it. It got to where she would pick up the leash with her mouth and bring it to us to play with her. After a few weeks, I put the collar on her. She was not afraid of it. After a bit more time, I put the leash on and she would play with it, just chasing it like some animals chase their tails! I carried her outside and put her down on soft grass. I let her choose where she went. She stayed still and lay there just looking around. After awhile she took a few steps, sniffing the grass. Eventually she chased some leaves or jumped up to try to catch bugs. She learned to love going outdoors and would bring the leash with the collar attached over to the door to ask me to take her out. Patience is all you need.
No sense talking.
I saw that video over 25 years ago in a safety course. It was in the segment of “Don’t make things worse.”
They should have shot it like a dog🤔 a cats disgusting claws are deadly 🤣😂 hopefully the pig didn't get cat scratch fever from his testicles
20:30 , the lightning strike was not about 20 ft away from the reporter. the truck turning maybe was, lol. The strike happened across way on the opposite end of him, on the other side of that road, where that store was. But for sure, too close for comfort! :/
I was going to say the same thing. 50 to 100 feet was more like it.
All right I just about choked to death on a bowl of cereal I was eating Pinky the cat had me laughing so hard stuffing my mouth with cereal and laughing at the same time what a cool cat
*OMG at **7:32** I literally laughed loudly out loud! And after the last few days, I needed that laugh! Seriously hilarious. Pinky the cat was just terrified probably of the cameras/filming crew. Busy things for an animal already with PTSD, can sometimes freak them out, just like humans do.*

Pinky was obviously stressed and acted out. I would of adopted him. Poor thing.
I think pinky was put to sleep. If you didn’t adopt him I don’t think anybody else would’ve
@@inquisitivesoutherntara6997No. I knew cats. Unless cat been abused before you adopt cat. Cat may reacting different. Cat are not human talk language. Same as you are not cat language talk. If you abused cats more, then cat can feel stressed, scared, needs to protect themselves away from you. You needs to stop abusing animals. Cats needs right owner who’s knew cats well. Cats needs feel safe sense and love.
You said can’t give cat away because you knew you do abusing animals. Your cat not hurting people. You are hurting cats. Be honest with me or I call police

@@lk4871 oh I have many many scars from those 2 attacks. I'm going to ignore that other commenter saying I abuse cats. 🙄 I work with no kille rescues and help out by fostering cats and sometimes dogs. Even stopping on the interstate to rescue them. I was advised by my vet to put my cat on Prozac since he has deeper mental issues than the regular cat. I just hoped for other suggestions. The idea of giving a dog or cat those kinds of pills worries me for their physical health. I've rescued and fostered for 3 decades and only seen 2 cats act like that.
In Pinky's defense. Cats don't cotton to harnesses and, plus pinky was frightened by the camera. Things got drastic when she couldn't escape so she went for the crocth. Just like any females will do.😮

That show was called This Morning and the blonde is Holly Willoughby, host....she and Phillip Scofield had a scarier doll on, I'm not sure the year, it was brought by a woman who owns it or something, they put the doll in a rocking chair, the rules clearly states, DON'T PUT A CREEPY DOLL INTO A ROCKING CHAIR!!!...
They were asking her questions when that rocking chair started rocking...I cannot tell you how much I hate dolls and clowns!!!! Shown on BBC...ITV
Why? Clowns make children happy and so do dolls. If it could make a chair move wouldn't that make it more valuable?

When a glass has had ice cold water it can form moisture on the outside. Especially on a glass table this can lift the glass enough to lose friction. Very little slope is needed for it to move. I have had this happen many times.

The reporter with the chicken, he may have had a fear of them. Controlled it while the bird was still but lost it when it moved. As to the dolls try a blast furnace fire purifies.
Glasses will sometimes slide easily on glass tabletops, if there is even just a little condensation on the outside of the glass. I've seen this a few times on a glass topped coffee table. Funny thing is I can't remember if it was my brother's, or a friend's coffee table, but I've seen it a few times before.
PS: Kick drunk men directly in the nuts if they get stupid on you.

@@ginadeam6813 Sometimes I wiped up streaks, absolutely. But not always. I also have no explanation for sliding on a level table, except stretching and thinking "It's a TV studio. They may have strong fans to help hosts with hot lights." In the end though the condensation thing is just a possible theory.

It's quite obvious that the chopper and the woman planned the fly-by. Otherwise, she would have been freaking out. I didn't see her freak out. Did any of you? No.

What she did was incredibly dangerous and not just for her! A pilot would not purposely play around with a person in their fly zone. We had a person who, new to the job, forgot to keep well away from aircraft with propellers. You can't see them when it's darker outside and they're going full on for pushback. She was decapitated. These kinds of accidents happen and whomever planned that segment was incredibly stupid. I truly doubt the pilots had anything to do with it! You can be sucked into jet engines which aside from being 100% fatal, can also cause a plane to crash. If you stand behind a plane that is taking off, there is a good chance of being killed by the jet blast. Depending upon how powerful the plane is, you can literally be thrown back and killed. I doubt this lady had permission to be where she was. Any aviator would tell you it is a bad idea.

No, it wasn't scripted. No aviator would go along with anything this stupid. She and her crew may have planned it, but the chopper pilot wasn't at that meeting. Everyone knows how vapid the media is.

15:15 Maybe if we draw a big blue circle around the woman, no one will notice that the interviewee and his microphone in the foreground (and mutliple other things in the shot) also fade and change at exactly the same moment. The producers cut something out of the interview. Case closed.

Pinky the cat story was an older story..and a very painful story. I felt sooooooo bad for the poor fella who was attacked by the scared cat. Poor guy 😢😮😮😮

One of the things that you never see, is someone making a video on HOW these effects are achieved; like the vanishing lady and many others such as the deer. It's either one of two things they can't or they "won't" for some reason. And as far as that other vanishing lady at the end, I replayed it in slow motion and you would clearly see some element of the lady to the other lady's right but you don't. So that explanation by the announcer is not valid.
The rocking chair doll one was a joke by the British TV station for Halloween.

We had a favorite video taping of "The Princess Bride". Someone did a fantastic job cutting out commercials. In the fire swam scene the ROUS is lumbering away, and it suddenly disappeared.
It's normal. It looks like the hand that looks like a normal artifical hand that Surgeons give to an amputated person. Any accident canmhappenmto anyone any time. They have legs available like that if someone needs it in a hurry as well..
That doll on the rocking chair has to GO! I grew up in a haunted house and I have seen, heard and felt the paranormal, but that doll’s behavior signals to me it’s time to GO!

The disappearing lady one was crazy...maybe she was a spirit? Who knows..or maybe she was from another dimension
It was just a green screen effect. These days too much happens during live broadcasting that it makes it too hard to filter out or cut before too much is shown. So what they do is film the backrground of where they want to do the interview but with put the reporter or interviewee for about 15 minutes. They will now use this background on a loop and setup a green screen for the people and its smaller. Makes it easier to display a background behind them that looks live while the interview is live. Anyways what happened is that the lady was unexpected and the disappearing effect is caused by the green screen obstructing her. Green screens are generally invisible to us viewers and can make things go invvisible if you go behind them since you know cant see through it lol. However must have caught the camera crew off guard just ad much as it did viewers
It was not a green screen effect. There is a cross-desolve in there. You can see the microphone jump to new position. The clips were likely not live even though advertised as such.

Cats don't do leashes! They don't do strange environments. An animal professional should know that. A sweet cat could become very dangerous when scared!
The lion looks like a cat who gets over stimulated but because of it size it caused injuries. My cats act like that if they get overexcited. Cats do that mine does that if We rub his tummy too long.which looked like they were doing.

These are all bizarre. All these situations went wrong because humans want to believe they can control animals. That first presentation about an Alien amongst us was the most ridiculous.

Even my cat who loves me every once in a while for no reason freaks out on me and lashes out. Animals have their own ways and we don’t understand everything about them yet. Meanwhile I’ve had at least a dozen dogs, not once have they turned on me . Moral of the story…stick with dogs.
