Holy shit, Cheng Pu's ending is depressing. He's the last of the old guard from Sun Jian's time. His friends like Han Dang, Huang Gai, etc have all passed on. And he just sits alone to watch the young people, waiting for his time too.
It will be no surprise that all Wu officers have athletic and ripped muscles if Koei is going to put a Swimwear DLC on them. Even Lu Xun, Ling Tong and Zhu Ran has those suggestive figures based on what outdoor pastime they're doing.
One of the neat things about having a Mandarin Chinese dub is that we can finally hear all of the characters' names being pronounced phonetically correct. With the Japanese dub, they always use their own weird pronunciations for names, such as "Diaochan" becoming "Chōsen".
It's also pretty sad, when you think bout it, it represents that Ding Feng is Wu's only guardian left, every else has passed, he's the only one left to keep Wu alive
It's really funny when you know about that scar story Zhou Tai had to tell because of Sun Quan. It really explains why Tai tried to stay away from Quan when he was drunk 💀
He's been around since the time of Zhou Yu being the great general of Wu. It's so sad that Ding Feng outlived every playable Wu character in this game. Strangely though, Lu Xun and Zhu Ran didn't appeared as apparitions in his ending. Perhaps Koei still haven't decided on how they died.
I love the animations and motion they put in the cutscenes. Lots of expressions even from the mooks: the generic soldiers. Especially in the cliff diving moment. Frankly with the "live action" movie being made, I think the CGI would be better. You could do much more with flips and action scenes with CGI characters. China can always do a remake of their Three Kingdoms tv show.
No mattrr what, I will always stand by Wu being my favorite of the kingdoms. I love their unity and the sort of feeling that they're like one big family. It's so sad the amount of loss Wu had to deal with. People like to use the amount of loss as one of the reasons Wu is the weakest or worst kingdom. I get the feeling that if certain warriors lasted longer, they would havd had more of a leg to stand on against Wei/Jin. They didn't really have to worry about Shu after Yiling. Anyway, my personal ranking is Wu at no.1, Wei at no.2, and Shu at no.3. Shu's buzzwords of BENEVOLENCE, VIRTUE, and JUSTICE can get on my nerves a bit. Especially since there's hypocrisy in their actions. But none of the kingdoms are perfect, of course. Each kingdoms' problems become more glaring when you look at actual history. Still, I like Wu.
Depends on how you look at it. Sun Wu already have Jiangdong as a powerbase for men and taxes. Wei began from Cao Cao rallying soliders and talented heroes to his side and conquering other warlords. Shu Han, however, began with literally 3 peasants: Liu Bei, Guan Yu, and Zhang Fei. They're pretty well off to only just muster a small militia when joining to fight the Yellow Turbans and Dong Zhuo. Their lord, Liu Bei, was but a sandal maker and, despite his imperial lineage, had not taken an official position. For a man of such ambition, he was woefully inadequate to make a bid for Chinese reunification since he has no land to gain taxes from, no population to levy, no great deeds or title to himself that would make him able to recruit followers. That's why he strongly clung onto these virtues. Having virtue and a sense of honor is as much important as having 10 cities or an army of 100,000. Wise, loyal citizens will seek these wise rulers to improve their society. Even today, a wise, virtuous ruler is what the people are looking for to lead them through the 21st century.
Wu is kingdom with handsome & beautiful officers
ifkr?!!
han dang is papi
So is jin xD
Ace Combatant Yea they need to add Zhuge Jin in the next dw10, so that we have the dragon (zhugeliang) tiger(zhuge jin) and dog(zhugedan)
Don't forget Jin
The thumbnail made me think Sun Ce said "Da Qiao, they.....they took my tonfas..... *Begins to cry*
Is it sad that I haven't played 9 yet and that's the biggest thing that pisses me off?...It pissed me off in 6 and it pisses me off in 9

Han Dang died 17 years after Cheng Pu... Han Dang was right, everyone forgets about him.
Poor Han Dang always the one being forgot LOL
The whole Dynasty warriors story is actually quite depressing if they went with the actual history. No one really won in the end.
NateDawgDoge most importantly zu mao died the earliest at hulao gate
Actually ding feng died last
Basically wu is like high school student that want to have fun like jumpijg from the cliff or wrestling
It will be no surprise that all Wu officers have athletic and ripped muscles if Koei is going to put a Swimwear DLC on them. Even Lu Xun, Ling Tong and Zhu Ran has those suggestive figures based on what outdoor pastime they're doing.
What can we say...
They portrayed Wu as the kingdom with the brawn...
They gotta live up to their Tiger nickname...
The cutscenes are one of the only things they did right in this game.
Chinese voice. PERFECTION.
Guan Yinping's Chinese Voice is Boruto's Chinese Voice
Lu Xun and Huang Gai's were fricken hilarious. Lol watch their legs when Huang Gai throws them xD
Also LOL Zhou Tai at 30:36 xD
Xiao qiao & Da qiao 🥰
Konami never really dig in deeper with this character.
I am really big fan booth of them

And don't forget that the characters refer themselves using their courtesy name. Like Zhuge Liang being Zhuge Kongming and Zhao Yun being Zhao Zilong.
Yea its cool
Guan Yinping's Chinese Voice is the Chinese Voice of Boruto,Check on myanimelist
Ding Feng's ending is freakin epic
It's also pretty sad, when you think bout it, it represents that Ding Feng is Wu's only guardian left, every else has passed, he's the only one left to keep Wu alive

Huang Gai doing castle court wrestling!!
It's really funny when you know about that scar story Zhou Tai had to tell because of Sun Quan. It really explains why Tai tried to stay away from Quan when he was drunk 💀

Man, Ding Feng's really was the last survivor huh?
Well he was one of the few major figures from Wu that lived into the time period that was the Jin Dynasty.
70 years

Every time I see an ending where the character mentions sun ce; I get a little sad since he’s my fav character. For example zhou yu and taishi ci
Sun Ce all the way!
