@@powskier Coincidentally I just saw my first lighted night drone twice up around my house just this week, & considered what it would take if I ever had to take one out. I estimated it was roughly around 3-4 feet in diameter, about 150' up, & a lot quicker moving than I expected. I think at the least, a Benelli Nova or Beretta/Benelli semi-auto 12 ga w/a top mounted Red Dot or lit multi-pattern open reflex sight, 28" full choke bbl firing 3 or 3.5 mag #6 size birdshot shells or larger, preferably steel or Hevi-Shot SHOULD be able to knock it down. The toughest part may be tracking/ leading it just enough in the dark while quickly getting as much 'flak' on the target to break something. Remember, the operator will likely react once he realizes it's under fire, & I suspect many of these things have a one button 'auto return' to the control unit's location which will happen FAST. Your mileage may vary, & discreetly check your local laws before blasting away, AND, unlike that moron Biden, remember that those pellets that miss are gonna arc over & come down SOMEwhere about a hundred yards away. HTH
I have the 1301 tac and it shoots everything I've put through it flawlessly. Odd that you put it in 3rd place behind the A300, and it's faster, lighter, and handles better IMO than the clunky Benelli M4.
Yeah, uh, all well & good IF you've got a spare $900+ to $2000 burning a hole in yer pocket! It's a baffling shame the light bulb is still OFF for some enterprising maker to design a 20 gauge(!) pistol grip RELIABLE tactical semi-auto, AND for ammo mfgs to GET A CLUE and design a reliable function, hi-wall brass 20 gauge buck shotshell w/LARGER than #3 or 4 size buckshot for defense!! MAYBE go UP to 3" length to get some extra pellet room, duh? Mossberg's SA-20 semi-auto Tactical is generally what I'm describing, but it reportedly has function issues with low base wall shells - which are primarily what 20 gauge slug & buck loads currently ARE, DUH. Not to mention it's made in Turkey AND is overpriced at around $600.😢 C'mon folks,get a CLUE! Not everybody wants or needs to get their shoulders NEEDLESSLY OVERPOUNDED by 12 gauges!! 20s can do the job & likely faster AND cheaper!
