Could we get a driving video of the 54 Chevy truck one where we can see you shifting gears and out the front window and what's the top speed on your truck

Sorry, I don't know how I missed your comment. Next time I take it out I will try to video the shifting and show you what the top speed is. Thanks for watching!

Thumbs up, but it would be so much better showing how you installed the seal I recommend you upgrade your brakes next.

Thanks for the video. How did you remove the old seal up in the top part?

I didn't have to remove it to put in the new seal. I placed the old rope seal in the wrong groove. That's why it was leaking so bad. Thanks for watching!

did you leave the rope in the groove that you initially thought was the rear main groove?

Where did you order why rubber seal?

It's been so long that I don't remember where I orderded it. I can see a part number on the bag that it came in on the video. It looks like part number 4519. If you want to find one I would I would google: chevy 235 engine rear main seal 4519. I found a number of seals you can check out. I tried the rubber seal in hopes that it would do a better job than the rope one. But if I put the rope seal in the right place the first time I probably wouldn't have had a problem. Thanks for watching!

@@sundaydriverrides I ordered one. Your video was informative. We couldn’t get the rope seal through, it was too fat. We’re trying to avoid pulling the whole block out so we’re gonna try the rubber plastic one. Hopefully it stops the drip completely or atleast slow it down.
