Hello everyone! My name is Nick. I'm just your average husband/father/son/brother/friend, that is into cars, hotrods, ratrods, trucks, and tractors. Pretty much anything with a motor and wheels. Just did mines last night but it looks really lumpy .. it didn’t flatten out .. do you recommend anything for that .. maybe wet sanding it flat?
Why are the fenders on the bed of the truck on backwards?
It started ooh nice seat the ended with aww shit
NOMAD ❤
Anyone ever try to use some kind of putty or play dough to mask the tyre? Does that work better? I know it'll be easier to apply.
I have a '70 800A it has the original 345 v8
THAT'S SO COOL, WELL DONE "FROM SYDNEY AUSTRALIA"
Video starts at 2:45
Looks good bub!
Yeah that's not good
This shouldn't be hard something was holding you up, go slow and pay attention, more work makes things easier sometimes like taking the radiator support out so it can be pulled on less of an angle, or drop the trans then pull the motor
You never pull an engine with the carburetor still on it, the boom should be next to the engine not 2 ft above it, hire a professional it's cheaper!
Be careful with harbor freight tools😮
I like to take off the front clip when swapping. Takes extra time but it makes things so much easier
I use white elasteromic roof coating. Can't go wrong. Works 10x better. Strong, washable and lasts
you could have moved from in front of the screen so we could see
totally random for the movie scene haha😂 he’s torquing those imaginary screws
This is stupid
Miss my 1973 Scout ll.
@@3Pillers I like my Black with White top with 345 4bbl 1973.
@ mine was white. 4 speed and a 304/302? Drove cross country twice. Ran it in the Arizona desert. Sold it in 78. Still miss it.
I had 2 of them. A 78 parts donor and a 79. I loved it but it was such a money pit. Plus the mpg was horrible
LOOKS PRETTY DARN GOOD
Hi, I have a '52 2 door roller that I'm starting on. The previous owner filled in the holes for rocker molding clips and finished over them with a smooth paint job but I do have the stainless moldings. Is it possible for you to give me the dimensions for the center of each clip using the seam between the front fender and door as a 0" mark? i.e. first rectangle hole looks to be an inch of so to the right of the seam and then there are 8 or 9 more moving towards the rear fender. then I could knock in an awl and roto tool or file out the rectangular holes. Thank you, Eric
no flat flexible sealer or clear laquer to seal it then you can wash with soapy water
The real test is driving the car around town then check to see if it still looks good
That was a cool video
Just some feedback; your video thumbnails should probably have less text than your video titles…especially when the titles are already quite long.
Just some feedback; not usually a good thing when your thumbnails have more text than you’re already long video titles. 👍🏻
Didn’t they come with a 152ci
Thanks. Just got one original from Sweden. Does it run on 6 volt, because my Opel Rekord P1 58 is 6 volt
thing is, white wall tires always needed to be regularily cleaned. Which leaves me wondering what you did, if anything, to keep it clean.
Comet vomit or AJAX and DAWN SOAP will do the same thing
The hero we needed, been wanting white walls for some time and even debated painting them on there but never bothered bc, well paint. But flexseal, never would've thought of it! Awesome, thanks for the inspiration and the knowledge!
What did I just watch ?? Way too much bondo ,but I guess u have to do what u have to do ,I've got some warped welds now on a very very thin Honda trunk ,thinking about getting the client another trunk lid ,from the junk yard ,im gonna try an get it out but if not I'm gonna have to start over so yea.97 honda way thinner probably but maybe not because urs was rusted brother...I probably would have just tried to weld a new top ,I know where I might be able to find a old one the same yr ,just let me know ,.maybe a reasonable price ??
For such a simple truck that looks like a shoebox from 100 yards away, the bodylines on these things - especially where they rust - is pretty daunting. I wish the galvanized patches they sold were a better fit.
It came out awesome 👌 👏
Cool video!
I agree, someone should talk to him 🤪
haha loved being trolled by your daughter at the end, great job
You're dad needs a hair cut .From a friend
What if you use flex seal on the tire then use white paint on it how would that work?
ALL SCOUTS 80, 800 AND SCOUT 2 HAD 100" WB. The Traveler and Terra had 118" WB
Nice video! I just patched an old sunroof and got some warping in the roof too. Trying to figure out how to fix that without using too much filler.
I'd like to see how that tool was made, getting a perfect radius cut
We made that tool using the other side of the roof as a template. Luckly one side of the roof was still good
I got a whole set of 50yo NOS white walls for $75 from swap meet. Took a hour to get em kinda white
Someone broke his mirrors so he 3d printed them😂🤷♂️
Was that a SNL reference?
Just tow mirrors buddy
Would look good on my 5 speed ion
🔥🔥🔥🔥I’m doing this to my civic
Only if it's a ef 😂
amazing video! I'm working on a 235 from a 57 Chevy 3100 and it's been a pain. The engine is a little stuck and won't turn but the biggest problem was the bell housing and the flywheel coming out! glad to see there are options for a budget build for these old engines!
