A Ghosts 2 trailer would honestly make me lose my mind. There is legit no other world like ghosts and has sooooo much potential. I also think Rorke is one of the GOAT villains in cod history.
I feel that, kind of sucks they didn't continue with more of these. Going through Ghosts again here made me realize how fun the campaign was too. I liked Rorke a lot as well, would love to see a return and some real closure on Ghosts.
I always thought ghosts was overhated, I loved the campaign and extinction when it came out and the map specific kill streaks/bounty system were so much fun
It feels like it for sure. The campaign was fun too. I think it was a good balance too since the games that came after started to go off the chain with the multiplayer lol
Personally, Ghost is my favorite COD game ever. It could be due to it being my first ever cod but.. THEY NEED A SECOND GAME! Why make such a GOATED campaign just to leave it on one of the MOST painful cliffhangers.
I will never forgive the COD influencers for jumping on the bandwagon and making this beloved COD to be the most HATED COD during its time. Now that it's over 10 years old, I hope the haters regret their criticism because of all the BAD COD entries that came out recently. This COD did something different for once. Most COD campaigns have you saving America, saving the day. This one has you Avenging it.
This is my FAVORITE Call of Duty, bar none. I thought Extinction and the Campaign were awesome (thought I wish the Campaign didn't immediately go from guerrilla to bombastic action movie in the span of four missions). I feel like most people are just still angry about the IEDs, which you could counter by taking a cheap perk... literally never had an issue after that lol.
I think that's the thing, it's better than a lot of the games that came after so I think maybe in a way it got judged too harshly, or personally, maybe playing the later games made me warm up to Ghosts a bit more than I had remembered it.
Theres a youtuber called jarekthegamingdragon he reviewed a game called rogue warrior, same technical issues happened to him but i think he tried to solve it or somethin so watch his vid n if its helpful put da solution in description n comments
Thank you! The PVP was ok to me, it was mainly what I remembered about the game (outside of the notorious cliffhanger) too. I think the map kill streaks was the most interesting thing they added. I remember a certain dude named Jhye playing a lot of extinction on Twitch lol.
From what I understand, the next game is gonna be BO7, so Treyarch gets the next one. I know Infinity Ward is getting the one after that, and I know MWIII ended terribly with Makarov escaping and Soap dying...but I honestly don't want them to make MW4. I want them to make Ghosts 2. It'd be a perfect opportunity. Everyone's already pissed at them for how MWIII was handled, so I really think they should stray away from that and continue Ghosts. Ghosts ended on a bigger cliffhanger than MWIII did, anyways. Ghosts has also gotten so much love recently that it didn't receive at launch, so the timing is there if they do it. Plus, we have Ghosts connected to MW because of the fact that they're Ghosts, despite there being no story connection. Cold War merged the Modern Warfare and Black Ops timelines. We could potentially have Ghosts 2 connect to the timeline as well, which would set up Logan and Hesh as characters for MWIV when Infinity Ward makes that after Ghosts II, because Modern Warfare has a "current" time relation to real life. That being said, if they do MWIV instead, they should still have Hesh and Logan in it, at least. It wouldn't be hard to do, either. MWIV starts off with Hesh, and the first couple of missions revolve around Hesh fighting Rorke's men across South America attempting to locate Logan. Along the way, you discover that Rorke has met a Russian ultranationalist contact, by the name of Vladimir Makarov. Makarov and Rorke have Logan held captive in the Komi Republic. As Hesh, you travel through harsh terrains and eventually run into Task Force 141, who are currently hunting for Makarov after the death of Soap and attempting bombing nearly 8 years prior. Makarov has been in hiding, constantly moving locations throughout Europe. Along his journey, he met an American by the name of Rorke. It is here that Makarov also meets Logan as Rorke's hostage, and recognizes the mask Logan has as being similar to the one used by Simon Riley. Makarov and Rorke form an alliance, and ultimately make their way to Komi Republic, and form an operations base in an abandoned gulag named Vorkuta. While there, they find old CIA dossiers and inmate files on a prisoner named Alex Mason. Reading through Mason's inmate file, they attempt to learn how to brainwash and turn soldiers into sleeper agents. After a few successful trials on nearby farmers and other prisoners they've captured in battle, they attempt to brainwash Logan. While all this is happening, Hesh and TF141 intercept Konni communications regarding a high value prisoner. After deciphering the message, they get a location: Vorkuta. Price contacts Laswell for information on the abandoned Gulag. Through some string-pulling and a lot of system tampering, she manages to discover the deep roots of corruption. She learns of the true operations performed by MACV-SOG in the neutral territories of Cambodia and Laos. She also learns of Alex Mason, a former CIA operative and Vorkuta inmate. She learns of the potential brainwashing, his friendship with Frank Woods, and of his handler, Hudson. She also learns of Adler, Bell, and the Pantheon incident. As she digs further, it becomes apparent that none of the people in these files are alive, as they've either passed away from age, or been killed in the line of duty. Some just simply disappeared. Then she comes across the names of two Navy SEAL Team 6 members; David "Section" Mason and Mike Harper (assuming we make the ending where Farid attempts to shoot Menendez canon). While Laswell gathers this information and attempts to make contact with Section and Harper, TF141 and Hesh are in Russia. They're forced to go through a series of brutal guerrilla firefights and eventually get pinned down by heavy Konni vehicles. As all hope seems lost, Graves and his Shadow Company conduct a danger-close bombing run, destroying the Konni artillery. With the help of Graves and Shadow Company, they are able to fight from Tyumen all the way to the Vorkuta Gulag. At the Gulag, Graves takes missile fire and his plane goes down. He is confirmed KIA. When they make it into the prison, Makarov has already fled with most of his Konni forces, but Rorke and his men stayed behind to finish brainwashing Logan and attempt to repel the attacking force. Hesh catches up with Rorke, killing him. After Logan is freed, he attacks Hesh and TF141, but is subdued. Laswell then makes contact with Price, letting him know what she found. She also lets him know that Section and Harper are waiting back stateside in D.C. When they get back to the States, Section and Harper successfully attempt to help undo the brainwashing of Logan. Logan is able to then provide information regarding the other brainwashed prisoners, as well as Makarov's plans to hack and utilize the ODIN Satellite targeting to launch Cradle-loaded missile strikes across the Americas, Europe, Asia, and the outlying pacific Islands. The joint forces of TF141, Logan, Hesh, and Section's SEAL team go on an international manhunt. Makarov is eventually located in Lithuania. After heavy fighting and heavy losses, the team corners and captures Makarov, intending to take him in. Price executes him on the spot instead, and the rest of the team works on disarming the missile process. One of the missiles can't be disarmed, and one of the members will have to stay behind to close the blast doors. Price, not wanting to lose anymore men, orders everyone else out, sacrificing himself to close the blast doors and keep the Cradle project contained. The team reels from the loss. The entire conflict lasts between 2028 and 2029, just years before Advanced Warfare, leading into the possibility of Advanced Warfare also joining the timeline.
Hear me out, COD cycle in nutshell: 1. People hate on game 2. People leave game 3. New game comes out 4. People say they love the game they hated prior. Notice how people switch up way to quickly in the CoD community?
This is exactly it lol. It's funny you say this because I can remember this happening going as far back to Black Ops (people went back to Modern Warfare 2) and then it happened with Modern Warfare 3 (people went back to Black Ops). And with Ghosts (people went back to Black Ops 2).
I always thought that Ghosts was one of the most bombastic set piece driven games in the series. Not the best writing or VA in my opinion but I replay this campaign often. I would pay money for a Ghosts2 rather than a Black Ops 7
Riley the best boy
Need more dogs in Duty!
shooting the honey badger was like drinking a crisp coke after enjoying a rare porterhouse.
My favorite assault rifle in the game lol
That was a sick rifle
on god it was

I completely agree, it's a fantastic game and I'd love to see some closure too! The campaign was good fun!
Honestly ghosts was the closest thing we had to feeling like og mw2
Oh absolutely. The guns even feel pretty close to og MW2/MW3 too, just different looks.
to be fair mw2 was composed by hans zimmer, its not like future installments really ever had a chance haha
It's true! But I think Ghost and Black Ops still have great soundtracks too!

That's a good way of looking at it, it's a solid campaign! Definitely underrated! It was really fun to play.
People will talk about honey badger being broken but all AR were broken, just the badger got already a silencer on it
That is true. Was the main gun I remember using while playing MP back in the day as well since it was the game's M4.
@ i was a huge fan of the ak12
Can never go wrong with an AK either!
extinction was fun fr 😭😭😭😭
campaign was so peak bro, ending still needa be answered til this day!!
I completely agree! Was a blast to play through!
Seriously
The game that had Myers, before playing as Myers was cool (●'◡'●)
Lmao I didn't know that. The one thing that I remembered about the multiplayer was that there were a few map kill streaks.
@@RistoTheAristo Playing as a Predator and Michael Myers was the shizz back in Ghosts
This was my first cod I ever played and damn do I love it
I enjoyed the campaign
Same, was still entertaining!

This was a fun watch! I hated this games pvp. But the space scene at the beginning was so good in the campaign.

It's really good! Kind of sad we never got a sequel.
Operation Coming? or Cumming? and they really expected us to take this story serious? LMAO
Lmao. To be honest, it threw me off too.
Operation: Coming 🤣
