@@jackrutherford-1 Back wheel was locked up but I took it apart and got it freed up pretty easily. Tank has some rust so I am cleaning that out and possibly Redkote the inside. Do you suggest bypassing the oil injector and just running a mix straight from the gas tank or try to run it with the stock set up? Thanks again for your videos and knowledge. I subscribed!
i have another question,so if i dont want to use the oil pump and just mix my oil and gas like you do,do i have to get rid of the oil pump and plug it up?thanks again....
I've done it multiple ways and all seem to work. You can pull the pump and plug it. Treatland has oil pump plugs for nu50. Or you can get a freeze plug. I've even done it with a wine cork temporarily. I've also just capped off the oil pump and left it in and capped off the oil intake on the carb. I've also just (when oil is low in oil tank) added premix to fuel tank and just ran it out of oil and done nothing with the pump.
I have one right now that is my mothers that I'm trying to restore. Run's perfectly fine just is completely dirty and old, and rusty in some areas from old age. Planning on dissembling it for a deep cleaning, if you see this.. any tips on the cleaning process?

FYI blue loctite isn’t a sufficient recall fix. I had that bracket break on me and rotate the fender under my rear wheel, sending me skating sideways. The ‘83 model actually has a reinforced mounting bracket.
I am having issues with my battery staying charged. Is there something on the bike that is to charge the battery when running? Can you direct me in the right direction on this issue?
Check and make sure the rectifier is properly hooked up to the battery. The rectifier converts AC to DC and charges the battery. Check your fuse as well.

How do I tell if my 1982 Honda urban express is a NU 50 or an NC 50 or which type it is for me to buy rings for it?

what size is the rear rim? can I use a rim for an older normal express as a replacement?
Why are you pre-mixing the gas & oil? It's my understanding the bike does this automatically.
