Yeah, I do like the seats and the push button ignition that the 4Runner has. The SR5, the Premium, the Off Road, Sport, Limited, Trail. Overall, this is like a camping 4Runner.
nice review, but one comment. the button in the middle on the left lower...thats NOT your diff locking, that is to activate your auto running boards that deploy when you open the doors.
Actually, it doesn't. The only main competitors of the 4Runner is the Xterra and the Grand Cherokee, but also like the Pathfinder, passport, and the isuzu rodeo.
I'll have to agree with you. As a mechanic, from a technical standpoint jeeps are complete dog shit these days. Toyota is possibly the best made vehicles on the road.
No! lol I wish they would take it back to it's basic bare bones rugged and reliable off roader with NO bells and whistles. That way the prices of these things will hopefully drop because of the drop in demand from people who want a more luxurious vehicle from an old school body on frame truck. The other car companies like Jeep can fill the niche for people who want an off roader but also want all the comforts of a unibody ride. Can't have both. Toyota's simplicity is what makes them reliable, and I think they've already done too much to the runner and jacked up the price to cater to the crowd that want to be pampered in a vehicle that really isn't meant for such people.
@@iamtheequalizer I settled for a V8 2008 Pathfinder since they are cheaper in the used market. Used 15 year old 4Runners still commanding premium prices. Might as well get a Lexus GX for a little more
you really are annoying "I'll have to say--In my opinion!!" How many friggin times do have to say that over and over again!! Newsflash---- nobody gives a shit what you think!!!
I really don't understand the "limited" models of 4runners. They took a rugged and capable truck and tried to make it more highlander-ish? The approach angle sucks, the wheels are geared more for on road use, even though the 4runner is an off road vehicle. I feel like the limited is a neutered version of the SR5 or TRD models, which is a shame and it attracts a lot of people who would otherwise stay the hell away from a runner and just go with a grocery getter/long drive car like the highlander, and the inflated demand leads to an inflated price, anyone who's tried to buy one recently knows that these things are crazy expensive. If you have no intention of off roading with a runner then please don't get one, stick with a Highlander, they'll serve you better for your needs and it'll hopefully force toyota to drop the prices of runners in the future because the inflated demand bubble has been popped. Don't ruin it for the actual 4runner enthusiasts just cause you want to look cool driving a truck on a paved road. Just my 2 cents, and I'll be eagerly waiting for all the angry comments from all of the people who fits into the category of grocery getters etc that I described above 😂
Here’s the really great thing about the Limited. Toyota did not build it for you! Toyota still builds the SRO for guys just like you. And it’s great! Go buy one & knock yourself out! Don’t fret over the Limited buyers because they don’t give a rip about you.
Looks nice on the exterior, but interior lacks class. That's where I think the Jeep Grand Cherokee beats the 4Runner, Jeep has turned a rugged looking, go anywhere SUV to a luxurious, go anywhere SUV. Very nice review though.
Camerons Car Reviews Jeeps suck voted very bad in reliably jeeps are my 2006 4runner has 225,000 miles on it only spark plugs oil changes and other stuff point being you are wrong and that you suck.... Have a nice day.
Jeep quality sux and if you want luxury SUV, then you puck up Lexus, Audi... Calling Jeep luxurios T is almost as bad as calling Chrysler 300 a luxury car! Lol
Introduction too dumb like a frog. Does not have a refrigerator between the driver and passenger. There is no hot air exits Power Machinery .laeugd mattresses background electrolyte. There is no muscles underneath. Does not have a large fuel tank for desert
some people can complain about Toyotas look and feel but no one can complain about the reliability and life of a Toyota
one of the best reviews I have seen and I love this car it check all my boxes
Wow. Very beautiful car. Would love to get one.. Those leather seats..
Yeah, I do like the seats and the push button ignition that the 4Runner has. The SR5, the Premium, the Off Road, Sport, Limited, Trail. Overall, this is like a camping 4Runner.
Nice review...this might be my next vehicle...
This is my third favorite.
nice review, but one comment. the button in the middle on the left lower...thats NOT your diff locking, that is to activate your auto running boards that deploy when you open the doors.
The honda pilot is definitely a main competitor to the 4runner!
Actually, it doesn't. The only main competitors of the 4Runner is the Xterra and the Grand Cherokee, but also like the Pathfinder, passport, and the isuzu rodeo.
Very beautiful 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee summit
@10:38 he said diff locking..it’s the power running board switch
Wish Toyota would step up their interior game; prefer it to Grand Cherokee only b/c of reliability
hahaha.

Good detailed review!
Very nice review! Thank you!
I always watch Cameron’s car reviews, because it’s my favorite show on tv
I really like this and i turn 16 in 2 months, would you prefer the 2016 grand cherokee altitude overland, or this (4runner). Thanks!
What the hell is an altitude overland? Wow lol
@@Matter-of-FaxYar he har har you moron
could you like tell us the safety ratings and things like that
at 10:39 that is not Diff-Lock SWITCH , that is the blind spot zone sensor switch.
Hamad Al no its not. its the auto side step.
It looks like 2014 version. are there any differences that you notice? Camerons Car Reviews
why do you think people care about chrome door handles? but didnt show how seats fold down and the pull out cargo platform
all the silver ones by the building and in the building had 3 rows and some 4runner models have three row
I bought a 2014 4runner limited 5 passengers without 3 row I can put it? and how much it costs?
SR5 $32,820
Trail model $35,725
SR5 premium $35,740.
Trail premium $38,645.
Limited $41,365.
Total price for this one is $45,360.
The rear seat space always seems bit tight..when will they make them more spacious!! :(
@ 10:40 that is not the diff lock that is the button to turn the auto running boards on or off.
Bummed it doesn't have LED running lights.
so if i want to use the 120v power in the back do i have to have the car turned on? if not wouldn't it use up all the battery?
You really shouldn't have reved the motor above 4k with the miles being that low
Nice Video...
So you go with the reliable mild sounding V6 Toyota or go for the monster unreliable V8 in the Jeep hmm
I came to this video to compare the two.

How's interior road noise at highway speeds??
It's really perfect silence on the highway and don't make a lot of noise like the other cars so smooth and good
@@JonhMunoz1, uh, no. Even the Limited has a lot of road noise.

Although the reviewer is quite knowledgable about this vehicle, his speech presentation leaves much to be desired.
Why is toyota making the 4runner and the Land cruisers so dang big... besides the trd these things just look like suburbans...
Another grand Cherokee

toyota build quality is great but they are relying on the purists to keep coming back to their bland interiors,
