Duny/Pavetta Law of Surprise Part 2 - The Witcher S01E04 • Duny/Pavetta Law of Su... #Witcher Geralt saves Duny Law of Surprise 1 - The Witcher S01E04 SUBSCRIBE FOR MORE
How insane is this storyline? Just look at that hedgehog's teeth all fkd up and rotten-looking.... what girl/woman with a pulse and working eyesight could ever kiss that?! And why the heck didn't Duny just wait for the 'ring of the twelfth' bell when he will have become human again??
That duke popping up second after geralt due to honor being called while being the one to have more to lose. What a complete badass, man not even fighting with a sword
big brain queen time : do nothing and tell everyone to kill the one guy that kill monsters, like that something i never understood about the witcher universe, the witchers are there for monster hunting and every one gave them shit go hunt the monster by yourself and see what happen
They're hated because Witchers cannot reproduce and would often claim children as reward via the law of surprise. This is how they would create new Witchers. Essentially they stole babies from their home and forced them to undergo incredibly deadly trials (I think only 1/4 survive) and then they become superhuman. The reason they were invented is because at the clash of the worlds monsters were EVERYWHERE but as time went on and monsters were culled, the need for Witchers decreased. They're also obsessed with money and do nothing for free. Geralt is definitely not the average Witcher. You'll notice that Geralt doesn't speak of his parents etc
@@XxBruce5002xX You’re on point 👌 But it was 3/10 boys that would make it through the trials. So even worse. People got so sick of Witcher’s that they sacked Kaer Morhen, ruined all the equipment and killed the only guy left who knew how to make more Witcher’s, thus rendering it impossible to make more of them.
@@12thGenNewton 3/10 is not worse than 1/4 lol but yeah the theme of the witcher universe is that humans are racist and exterminate those that are different. If you watched Nightmare of The Wolf *SPOILERS AHEAD* some of the witchers understood their place following the great cleansing and made more monsters so that they had a purpose to the society and prevent the humans from going after them
came back to this scene to compare the OST from season one to season two and it's crazy how they cut the guy who did season one's music, it's so much better. season two feels so flat by comparison.
@@angelo423 that isn't relevant at all. The guy wrote the comment a couple of weeks after Season 2 came out, it isn't like it was a book only spoiler by then.
@@Ben-iz9ud I think you missed the part where he holds off a handful of the Queen’s guard single handedly there. Yeah he was eventually overpowered, but DAMN
@@aarjo8258 I didn't miss anything read the op... geralt literally saved him. He did okay for good 60 seconds but then he's disarmed, on the ground, about to be straight axed to death if not for geralt.
I don't like how they portrayed the Queen and Geralt. Geralt supported the queen, mentioning that the Law of Suprise will only be decided when the Kid in question decides for himself, that's why Duny waited 15 years. The Queen and Geralt had a beatiful conversation, so elegant, and intelligent. Duny was a disrespectful jerk, who insulted the Queen, after Pavetta decided to go with him; saying that the very same Queen was the one to bring the hand of her daughter to him, this is way all the presents and the Queen ordered to kill him, the Queen was going to respect the Law of Surprise. In this scene she is rude and Geralt is useless. Sorry, I wanted to compare the scenes since im reading again the First book, and I wanted to see the Live action just to enjoy that beatiful conversation between Geralt and the Queen, and then the incredible argument between Duny, Clococo, Calanthe, Geralt all the guests.

This was actually a great wedding even by Dothraki standard...

Geralt carved through the knights of freaking Cintra like they were common peasants. Beautiful to watch.

The only thing missing in this scene is the Fairy Godmother singing: I need a hero.

Dothraki are like: "Cintrans throw the best parties!"
Yeah and would probably want to show up for the parties lol.
I love how Eist help them, all he did was slapping those soldiers lmao
Jon Snow cameo @2:30
🤣🤣🤣
I didn't get it at first.
😂
LoL
hahahahahaha
the queen certainly used the fine line between like and dislike as a jumping rope....during one scene alone she switched sides multiple times
An accurate representation of women
Got to love Eist here.
Bruh the queen literally created chaos then killed someone who fought in the name of her order.
Women ☕️
This is why we didn't give them rights for the longest time

Season 2 music is much better.
Cut the woman*
What’s worse is that the new composer isn’t bad. Sonya Belousova was just so good that they’re forgettable by comparison.
Season 1 scores were way better.

That moment when a banquet turned into the Church scene from Kingsman. XD
