Hi, How many watt is your machine and how deep did the engraving go (like 1 or 2 mm)?

The Glowforge pro is 45W. The engraving is around 1mm.

why are you engraving with the protector sheet? i just removed it before

I find it gives the best finish. Without the protector sheet the surface around the engraving goes hazy and looks bad when it’s lit up.
