Sick riding, awesome trails, and great review. Figures I purchase a 2024 V3 after coming from my 2021 V2, then they come out with a V4, haha. I appreciate the added suspension and the ability to go with larger rear shocks and coils now. If I had my way I'd build it with a 160mm Fox 38 and a Float X2 in the rear.
Great little vid - so was it quiet descending? I didn’t like the transmission on my last one as it still seemed noisy/chain slap/rattle is this any better on the ht4?

Nothing like enjoying the sound of tires on dirt without any rattling lol
Sick POV as usual bro. Love the line choices.😍

Pretty quiet for me, other than the 101 hubs buzzing I didn’t notice any excessive chain slap. I think it depends on the derailleur too tho.
Where are you riding? SF Bay Area?
I think it is the Coyote Track trail in Rockville Hills Regional Park
Bingo, Rockville Hills Regional Park. Trails ridden Lower Tilley, Coyote, Cave
How tall are you on this Large?
6’3”
How u compare to stumpy with genie
I have not ridden the stumpjumper 15 yet, so I can’t say.
Whats rattling
What part of the video are you hearing a rattle?
A Bronson clone
Very similar to the Bronson!
Does any one actually concern them selves with smaller rotors for better clearance i get some miniscule weight savings...but clearance?
Definitely! I’ve had friends smack rotors, split them open or bend them and get tossed OTB.
I tacoed the edge of 200 rotor on a rock once. Probably would have happened with a 180 as well.
