While most of Annika's peers avoid such displays of affection, it is truly admirable that Annika has repeatedly hugged her grandmother. Annika, what a sweet thing you are! May you live long and good luck honey!
Both your families treat each other beautifully as humans first. Race, religion, language, and nationality don't matter. Heartwarming to see the mutual love and respect you all hold for each other.
Your mother and in laws displayed great maturity, sensitivity and understanding with the genuine desire to build a bond with each other, which is why they forged a good bond. Relationships need to be worked at. Your mother loving the traffic was admirably hilarious. That is how life needs to be approached.
It's great to hear the parenting advice of all of them came into a common point. That is nothing but be happy always together and respect each other. So, that would be a universal advice it seems.
Yes, i thought it would be interesting to get different cultural points of view from them, but they just went to prove we’re all the same at the core regardless of nationality and culture etc ❤
Really got tears in my eyes after watching the departure of Arnica's granny to Finland, what a kind hearted lady is your mom, Johanna. Hope to see her again in India because lots more places are still left for her to travel here.
My mom would definitely visit in the future too! :) how often depends on the flight prices, hopefully they don't keep getting even more expensive than they are right now!
The concluding part of the video was speechless and emotional. I am so happy to see Vinod’s Mumy and Daddy and all were enjoying .Happiness and harmony in the family is a great gift.Hope to see you soon in future with family.Take care With warm regards Joginder Thakur Zostel Homes Laida HP
Thank you so much Joginder-ji 🙏 we very much hope to visit soon again to enjoy laida’s warm hospitality and the peaceful nature, and of course see the new house too! All the best to you and thank you for an unforgettable stay 🙏
Aww! Those last hugs are too priceless! Epic moments..hope your Mom's leg is fine now, Johanna.Beautiful & heart warming post.Thank you Vinod, Johanna & Anikka.God bless you all abundantly.
Hi Johanna. Parting from a loved one is really heartbreaking. It makes us all emotional but have to look forward n pray that you can meet your mum soon.
Your mother is an amazing woman- the way she adapted and even adopted the Indian culture was heartening. My biggest sadness when we moved to the US was never knowing when and if I would meet my parents again. I hope you get to travel back to Finland each year and that your mother too will continue to visit you.
Unfortunately we're not getting to visit Finland this year at all, but at least my mom was able to visit us! And we're hoping to travel to Finland at some point next year, rather sooner than later. It's indeed difficult not knowing when the next time will be :(
Even I felt sad to see your mom leave. 😭 And Annika knew intuitively that she had to throw in some extra hugs, because she also felt that it's going to be a long while before she sees grandma again. 🥰You have a beautiful family that I admire. Vinod's parents are exceptionally wonderful, loving grandparents and great hosts to your mom as well. I'm especially loving all the home cooked meals. 😍 Just like Vinod's mom, my grandmother used to sew a lot of clothes for me as a baby and growing up.
Trying to imagine how your mother will convey her experiences in India to her friends and folks back in Finland. I am sure it would be one heck of a story for them...😅
I can't help but admire your mother in law's "walking foot" manual operated sewing machine Johanna. I even took a screenshot of her sitting, applying her craft. (I've got a nice scrapbook of Annika's life that I've kept). I have a real fondness for hand tools & in particular, ones of the early craftsman, like tailoring shears, & woodworking tools.
I watched your Vdo over and over again especially the last parting scene. I suddenly remembered an E glish poet who wrote the immortal line "parting is such a sweet sorrow". God bless you all.
It's really sad that your mommi had to leave for Finland. I love the way Annika showed her fondness for mommi while she was leaving !! Like Annika's Dada ji said did Annika knew that mommi was leaving. It was really great to hear advice/ parenting tips from all the three elders. It was so thoughtful of you to have asked them Johanna ji. I love everything Annika does , especially how she said hello to animals and the residents at the hill. A combination of happiness and sadness I felt watching this video. Your mommi has endeared herself to all of us. Miss her already. Bye take care. And Happy Anniversary to your parents-in-law . Namaste.
I thought everyone would be interested in hearing grandparental tips from our different cultures, but it ended up even better than I expected with all of them showing that no matter nationality and cultural differences we’re all still pretty much the same at the core! ❤
Annika seems like a gifted soul. She has such compassion and affection for people, kids of her age do not even understand these things. She might be an old soul. God bless her.
What a loving little girl you have raised! She brought me to tears with her hugs to her grandmother xx I hope your mother has reached safely and is doing well.
Dear Annika, parting is always painful, be comforted that with today’s technology you can keep in touch. I feel you. Love to your precious family and hugs to princess Annika.❤️❤️❤️🤗🤗🤗
It was indeed a emotional parting. As a parent your mom repeatedly advice to stay cool and calm was a very caring expression. Anika is too young to understand the emotional feelings of mother and daughters parting . When she grows up and views this video she will understand how she was cared by both grand parents. Continue to expose Anika to the various tours .. It was a very emotional filled moments while watching this episode
I have cried after this moving video of you and your beloved family!! I am sad as well, thinking of the returning to Finland of your mummi, I hope you can hug again asap! 😍😘
Very moving last scenes... I hope your mother is well and her leg is doing better. I also hope you all are able to travel to Finkand to visit her soon. ...And before I forget Happy Anniversary to you both !
Love your mom and mom-in-law’s advice. 👍🏼 Relationship between grandchild and grandparents is so special. Annika is blessed to spend time with her grandparents. ❤
It was so heart wrenching when Anika just said goodbye to your mum thank you for sharing that special moment it was a very private moment but you shared it. I crying towards the end you are such a special daughter and all the advice she gave and vinod's parents as well I know this video is a few months old but I'm sure you back into your routine love to your in-laws your mum vinod and the baby big hug for me Madhu from South Africa
Indeed a sad moment that after a long holiday mummy is going back home. Happy to know that she enjoyed her stay in India and visiting beautiful places here. But Anika’s again and again hugging Mummy brought tears to my eyes, she too understood that now granny is going back to Finland. She looked so cute but at the same time it was such an emotional gesture. Hope mom has reached Finland safely.
Beautiful video💕. Heart touching. Annika will surely miss her maternal Grandma...in the end it was heart rendering while your Mom was leaving back to her place in Finland. Please do convey our regards to her🙏
Another beautiful video.Annika's repetative embraces for her Mumi 💖how priceless is that ?All of you : Precious loving families. This video with all its great shots I will watch again several times I'm sure, and I will cry again each time towards the end.🤭Great job Vinod &Johanna.
A very heart touching video, Annika was hugging so sweetly her mummy and talking that i was getting very emotional, your mother is a very sweet and beautiful lady and i would like to watch her again in your lovely videos....your videos are very interesting because of excellent scenic views, interactions with people and animals and Annika's sweet activities ❤️❤️
I just admire all your vlogs..words will not justify wat I would say .but the bond of your mum with Annika is just 🌟💫♥️ Your inlaws and your husband are so pure by heart..the way u have accepted the Indian culture and vinod's family is... commendable .. Lots of love and blessings to you and your family always ❤️ 🤗
It's sad to see your Mum go but you all had such a great time touring India. It was a trip of a lifetime for your Mum. I'm sure she had a wonderful time with all of you and she'll have a wonderful time again when she returns. Maybe next time she will bring your sister along with her. Annika was becoming really close to her. You could tell by all the hugs as she was leaving. Now she will be back home in Finland telling all the family of her adventures.
Your mother with sister should come back very soon to India and for east west and south. Sorry vinodh for the trouble we are giving you. Proud of you. 🌟🌸✌✌👍🌻✨🌼🎉🍒🍎
Your mom is a very kind lady.. It is sad that she stays so far away from her grand daughter.. Please try to make it a point to visit her every Christmas.. ❤ In case there are visa problems you both can visit to some common place, say some countries in eastern Europe like Serbia, which provides visa on arrival to Indians and Europeans can travel without visa.. I hope your mom gets to meet you & annika soon
Oh lord! My tears wouldn’t stop flowing… beautiful heartfelt emotions.. I’m speechless! May almighty bless little Annika, Mummy, Vinod’s parents, Vinod and you Johanna always always.. I’m so emotional 😌💜
It’s nice to see Annika get hugs with best Grandmother very sweet 🥰😁👌🏼👌🏼, Annika saying good bye her grandmother but your mother is keep Quiet and Calm ,, Beautiful and together enjoyed Vinod, Annika, other family … God bless family 👌🏼👌🏼🙏🏼🤲🏼❤️🙌🏼🙌🏼🌸
Sorry to see your mom leave but I hope she and your sister can come back and stay for a while. As she said India is never boring and I don’t think they will be lonely either.
What a beautiful and touching moment at the end when Annika kept hugging mummi. So precious. Annika is truly blessed to have such wonderful loving and caring grandparents on both sides. I hope Johanna that it won't be too long until you, Vinod and Annika will be reunited with mummi. In the meantime, you have many wonderful memories that will last a lifetime. I wish mummi, dada and dadi good health and happiness always.❤❤❤❤
Aww this video make me so imotional that few drops of water roll down from eyes ...... The bonding between grandmother with grand children is always special...... Though Annika spend just couple of days with her mummi but the attachment is so deep...... good bye moment is so heart touching.,....hope your mom is doing well in Finland.....plz convey my love...... definitely she missing her India trip but all the videos made by you cheer up her mood...... eagerly waiting for your next vlog....
My mom is indeed enjoying watching all the videos with her healed leg in Finland! And of course her regular video calls with Annika which we've been doing since her birth to create a connection despite the distance :)
Even I feel sad to see mummi leaving for Finland after the long holidays she's had in India. Hope she'll be coming soon again with your sister and Raimo as well, Johanna. It's a beautiful family 💗. Annika is such a sweet little girl who's loving to whoever she gets along with. It's lovely to see her giving several loving hugs to mummi. She may not have reached two years of age but she's very matured and intelligent. I wish grandma a safe journey back home 💝🏠.
It might seem longer with how long it takes to make and post these videos, but my mom was here only in June. So we are all missing her very much at this point and looking forward to seeing next year hopefully :) though obviously that's not even nearly as often as we'd like!
Hi Johanna, it's always so great to see you all together as one as it should be and it was really emotional for you all when your mother left India but I know you will see her again soon. Annika will miss her grandmother, that's for sure. Thanks for sharing this wonderful video.🙏🙏🙏💓💓💓💓
Felt very sad that your mom left after having nice time with Aanika and you,but Aanika gave so many hugs and made lighter moments. She can understand what is happening, quite intelligent child.God bless you all.Johhanna be strong as it is part of life, that girls have to leave their parents ❤️
A most loving and emotional ending to your latest wonderful chapter, of love and bonding between two families, in-laws, mum and daughter, grand ma' and grandaughter, and embracing each other's differences. All is perceived and lived through your warm heart, empathy and sincerest desire to make the other feel much loved and cherished. Many subtle lessons.. Excellent lessons on human and family values! I will miss your mum, who has added sparks wherever she goes, simple, sweet and very kind. She is a special soul! Hopefully her leg wiill heal soon and completely. Vinod's parents too are oustanding! We love you precious little Annika, smart, sweet. She has a great sense of humour too. Vinod, Johanna and Sister we love you. Thank you for your sharing and for expanding my 'horizon' With affection, Luciana
I reassume with your Mother's advice to you both where she says: calm down;that it's not anyone's fault when you get wearied off with going after Annika due to her toddler age. It was so touching Annika repeatedly hugging her mumi(Finland). A fabulous anniversary to Vinod's parents 🎉♥️ And not the least, farewell is always the hardest part of any important relationship. Hope your mother has reached safe and sound back home in Finland. Take care everyone 😘
Well we are tired and worn off indeed, which obviously makes most people impatient and low spirited, while we're both stubborn too - in addition my mom knows I'm super sensitive and emotional and vinod doesn't mince his words, so it's a great combo of qualities, haha. :') My mom is well in Finland and back to good health after several weeks of proper rest for her leg!
I hope you and your family enjoyed being here in India and I also hope that you have fond memories which you will share with others. Love to Annika, stay safe, stay blessed.
Always remember .. do not ever try to change each other! We can only change our own selves!! And at the heat of the moment.. there is no winner!! So the one who stops the argument first is the winner!! Its very important to have lone time .. walk away from the scene reflect and introspect .. why you love each other!! We all have the good in us .. but we emphasis the most unimportant things .. you two are a great couple and raising an awesome girl ♥️
Those ladies were so right that trail up the hills were so narrow and dangerous..you people are very daring to go there especially carrying a little baby..
Hope she took lots of beautiful memories and would come back to visit you soon. Kids needs their grand parents love. She didn't visit god own country and your home in her first trip? I thought it would be in her bucket list..
We’re hoping next visit will be us going to Finland and then it’ll be her turn again to come to India 😊 now for my mom’s visit our great priority was to spend time in Jaipur so we toured North India only
OH my! You have managed to choke me up a few times J, but not with all the sobbing I experienced this time. It feels so good & hurts so bad all together. What a memorable visit for you all. Annika is understanding the love emotion now, & there was lots of that happening in the final evening of the trip for all of you. I'm starting to feel like "uncle Blair" with my own emotion at this point 🥰. Sending so much love to you all as always. ❤.
Do title yourself as Uncle Blair, which is anyways a very Indian thing to do! I anyways love the big community/big family aspect of it, so we are also teaching Annika the habit of including everyone in her family by calling them uncles, aunties, sisters and brothers :)
@@JohannaNorth It is an honour for me Johanna. That was a common thing when I was a child as well. The whole hometown Scandinavian community was tight. I had so many "aunties & uncles" that I wasn't sure if the real deal was any different 😁. Annika has been "with me" since she was born & it's so very "family" Johanna. ❤
I got tears when Annika hug her mummi so many times.
Same bhai
Same here

Vinod, Johanna and Sister we love you.
Thank you for your sharing and for expanding my 'horizon'
With affection,

My mom is well and recovered in Finland after treatment and proper rest! Thank you for such a kind comment
Miss u mum..
I reassume with your Mother's advice to you both where she says: calm down;that it's not anyone's fault when you get wearied off with going after Annika due to her toddler age.
It was so touching Annika repeatedly hugging her mumi(Finland).
A fabulous anniversary to Vinod's parents 🎉♥️
And not the least, farewell is always the hardest part of any important relationship.
My mom is well in Finland and back to good health after several weeks of proper rest for her leg!
God Bless your family ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I hope you and your family enjoyed being here in India and I also hope that you have fond memories which you will share with others. Love to Annika, stay safe, stay blessed.
❤️❤️❤️ Love is the message by all the parents.
Spread love to your family and to others as well.
Thank you so much for the additional input :)
My heart is full♥️
Those ladies were so right that trail up the hills were so narrow and dangerous..you people are very daring to go there especially carrying a little baby..
Hope she took lots of beautiful memories and would come back to visit you soon. Kids needs their grand parents love.
She didn't visit god own country and your home in her first trip? I thought it would be in her bucket list..
We’re hoping next visit will be us going to Finland and then it’ll be her turn again to come to India 😊 now for my mom’s visit our great priority was to spend time in Jaipur so we toured North India only
Namaste Anika 😘
This vlog truly touched my heart, wishing your Mom safe and happy journey 🌹tc God bless you all 🌹
