I know, you would never be happy with a handmade chain since you like perfection. There is a better way to use the micrometer so you're measuring individual link sizes.
The Jacoje chains never changed color but The Daniel Jewely chain did. I just dipped it in some jewelry cleaner tho and it cleaned right up like brand new.

Definitely the Franco. I think it has a more “classier”type of look. And it’s a 3mm so it’s smaller and I like it for everyday wear. The rope is 5mm so it’s not too big but it’s going to attract alot more attention than the Franco. And I don’t need that much attention everyday…. Not in this city lol

Yeah the Francos look like they are definitely from different suppliers. I bought a 7mm 20in Mariner chain over a year ago it's 33grams. Now on the site the 7mm 20in Mariner chain is over 40grams so I think it's a different supplier and a bit thicker now.
Only flaw I see is with the Franco that some maniac cut parts of the chain off that beautiful Franco! Plain Franco is the best and IMO how the link should be and look, a diamond cut rope looks great but not a diamond cut Franco. I dislike the gap, but that could very well be more noticeable or more BECAUSE of the diamond cut so another reason. I think the white gold and rose gold Franco's looks awesome together personally.
When you get handmade Cubans there's always going to be something because it's human made but that's what you wanted instead of machine made and also the hang straight test doesn't mean too much as long as it's not twirling around like crazy. BTW nice setup I have a 3mm 22inch with the jacoje diamond lady fortuna 10 Gram I love it. Thanks for sharing your pieces. Wear them in good health

Love these chains and yes why do people wear white gold just use stainless or if you want a precious metal go sliver because they all sort of have the same color, so much so that you can't tell the stainless rolex watches and from the white gold rolex or patek
Yeahhhh, but with the silver it just tarnishes so fast. So silver is just more of a hassle to keep it looking it’s best. That’s prolly why the luxury watches use stainless steel instead of silver. Doesn’t tarnish like silver

Look into Reys Gold and Cash out of Miami for Cuban links. They are great to deal with. No issues with my chain. 👌🏻 Looking good though. I need to grab a rose gold chain one of these days.
I saw on other videos Daniels outsources their Cubans bcc they’re getting more business. Could be the reason for quality control, just something I read from other comments. Looks nice still
Interesting. Not sure why the Peruvian rope is so light, but the rope is made up of many tiny pieces versus a large solid link. I think the Cuban will always inevitability seem richer for this reason. Great review!

@@KarelleDIY I seen the whole video already but I did watch it again because you took the time to link it for me, the only reason why I ask is because solid gold does not do that easily, or, that deep or big. I been in the gold chain game since 2008 and the only chains I have ever seen do that are hollow chains. I imagine solid does probably do that but you would have to do that on an accident you wouldn’t forget so then you would know how it happened. solid gold is SOLID so it’s kind of hard to dent like that even on 14kt maybe you should get that looked at to see if your chain is truly solid because With all do respect my hypothesis is your chain is hollow and that’s from my experience but I could be wrong I’m just speculating here. Either way it’s worth getting looked at especially because it’s a MM that thick it just doesn’t make sense a solid chain with that MM size would do that. But I’m a big fan of yours, I subscribed and love the content. You make it easier-to go shopping for my girl.

I know they have to flatten the links and shave them down, they prolly didn't flatten that link properly. Just like the link that was chipped (why the chain does not hang straight), I think they really just rushed my chain cuz they get sooo much business. They def don't sell hollow chains though. Daniel Jewelry (their company) is too big and reputable to do that. Once you see their operation (check out their Instagram and all the reviews on them) you'll see. They just didn't do a good job that's all. 🤷🏽
