Everything in this video looks fresh & clean, one of the prerequisites to good cooking. This lady gives an excellent presentation. Also, she's got everything set out beforehand, another star. Food looks good, too. Only I'm on an oysters rockefeller with spinach and bacon kick right now though, and on the grill, too. Yum!
My ol lady just tried oysters for the first time and now she’s hooked! I found your video and now she’s all excited we can have them at home during quarantine thank you!
Toya, you were spot-on with your descriptions. I will most likely use my grill like I have in the past. You're truly adorable and I mean that in the most respectful way!!! I wish you lived next door to us so we could swap recipes and food...
Yum! My favorite oysters that I've ever had were made and served on the Pacific Ocean at Morro Bay, CA. The boats bring in these big, tender oysters and an open air restaurant serves them with melted cheese, butter, garlic and parsley just like you do but grilled. They are huge but very tender, but any oyster of any size is delicious either cooked or raw in my book.
WHY......Why would ANYONE give this video a thumbs down ? It's about oysters for god sakes it doesn't get any better than that. To the woman who owns Channel thank you thank you thank you.
Thank you beautiful lady! Maybe a close up of the finished product but you prep was done so well that I'm sure it turned out great! Can't wait to try your recipe!
No lie ur are a hand full of peopme who prepped before shooting and we can tell.some people keep taking takes but u minimized jt by. Preparing yourself not correcting in the middle of end..nice work and u gave me cooking ideas..ty
Good recipe idea. I was looking for something other than oyster rockerfeller. Tips on opening are good too. This recipe looks like a winner for when you don't want rockerfeller. I did add some fresh chopped parsley and basil to the butter though. Will be having it tonight (4th of July 2018)
I probably won't try this myself on oysters but I think I want to try this on muscles 🤔 I like oysters but not when they're too meaty but I've always been curious of the mixture. Thank you so much for sharing 🤍
Last night was my second time with these and I will be eating these more often. Thank you for this easy method of incorporating a very tasty and nutritious food into my diet. PS I just use the muffin pans to make it even easier.
Greaat detailed recipe. I will try and substitute smoke paprika instead of paprika and add Old Bay seafood seasoning to the seasoning blend to give it that NOLA kick.
I need to ask if you meant Tony Chachere's creole seasoning. I can't imagine Old Bay being a common seasoning down here in New Orleans. In my opinion it's just not cajun. They use that seasoning up north. 😊
That is good for bland oysters. One thing we have on the Carolina Coast is the most flavorable oysters in the world. We buy them by the bushel and just shuck and eat. No butter, no sauce they are that good. However your dish sounds great. Just had to toot our horn a little since LA has us beat on so many other dishes. Southern Jeaux.
Thanks for sharing all of your insightful information, I really appreciate what you are doing and sharing with everyone in the world. Including me… Make it a great day.
The funny thing about oysters there's really no taste to him in my opinion it's just a place to put other things put other ingredients to make up a dish but there's really no taste oysters that's why I'm going down and getting some.LOL

I would suggest trying the Tony's or Zatarains crab boil seasoning for the Nola kick.

Did i miss what type of oyster she used? It wasn't in the recipe!
Whatever oysters are near your area. In the shell of course.
The funny thing about oysters there's really no taste to him in my opinion it's just a place to put other things put other ingredients to make up a dish but there's really no taste oysters that's why I'm going down and getting some.LOL
Yummie
This is all good, except for the gross cooking wine. If it's not good enough to drink, why would you cook with it?
Don’t drink it! :-)
Just to let you know even high end store in the wrong time will just tell u what u want to hear
Hey Toya. Are you single? I know your cooking but did not see a ring...😁😁
Sweet pea I was with you until cooking wine...there’s no such thing...a chef never and I mean NEVER uses cooking wine...use the real thing
You're right. But she used so little, it probably wouldn't make any difference anyway.
.
She is cooking them learn how to say the name
Thank you for being so sweet!
