Nice one Dave, happy New Year to you and Sue, to my fellow Subscribers here on your fab gear channel and to all in the VC/BC. Here are the results of the 15 questions from the Rutland Jury. 1. Happy Xmas (war is over). 2. Rubber Soul is my favourite album cover. It invented the Brit pop look before there ever was Brit pop. (even in late '65 the Beatles were ahead of their time) 3. A Hard Day's Night on white vinyl. 4. Strawberry fields Forever (British picture sleeve) 5. 1. Now and Then. 2. Real Love. 3. Free As A Bird. 6. This is I think a remaster of a bootleg from the 90's, "It's not too Bad, The Evolutiuon Of Strawberry Fields Forever." A Cd I picked up around November last year. 7. This for me is my favourite B-side Yes It Is. 8. My favourite cover of a Beatles song is Good Day Sunshine by The Bangles. Recorded and released in 2005 it was part of a childrens charity album of Beatles songs for kids. Number Nine, Number Nine. My favourite song covered by the Beatles is Long Tall Sally. I just love this track, how Paul really belts out this number, and there is a crackin version on Anthology 1. 10. My least favourite Beatles songs, if there is such a thing is Obla Di Oblada, Honey Pie and Flying, I don't dislike them, just not ones I go out of my way to play. 11. Last Beatles product bought was a US copy of the Hey Jude album just before Christmas. 12. The collection I'm looking to complete is the Anthology albums on vinyl, just No 3 to go now.. 13. My prized possession Beatles wise is the 1st pressing mono copy of Sgt Pepper as it belonged to my late mother, discovered by accident among my parents record collection that I inherited when my Father passed away. 14. A Hard Days Night on white vinyl. 15. What I'd like to see in '25 is The Anthology TV Series cleaned up and released on Blu-ray, also Let It Be, as cleaned up by Peter Jackson and screened on Disney + last year. So Dave, here is my list both humble and true, take it apart and mend it with glue.....

Part of the Capiphone project is the Sessions program,featuring the then unreleased Anthology tracks(Puttin.On The Style('57 Quarrymen church fete recording) is included for the first time.Free As A Bird and Real Love are vocal clean on the project mixes for both.(John's)
Just got my mono again from my north Jersey buddy.He had two.One was the Philips stick fonter ,the other was the Decca farmout,so took the Philips fonter,beings they were the primary contractor for lps with EMI.

Thanks for the run-down. Some interesting choices.I don't have a channel, so cannot really contribute. However, a couple of the questions did hit home on the Beatles in 2024. One of them was the last Beatles record I purchased. At first I was thinking that it was the Now and Then single, but it was actually the Red and Blue reissued CDs. I bought these purely to hear the mixes. I thought that expansion was a big mistake as was it as a vehicle for Now and Then. I also thought that the presentation was poor. Let's say it was a rushed product to be kind, but it was not up to the standard we come to expect. I really have not gone back to this at all and when I see the two vinyl sets in HMV for £150, it does make me feel very sad. What were they thinking. Are they going to revert back to the original format at some point? Who knows? What I would like to see in 2025 is a return to deluxe versions of the original albums or something new. There are things that could be issued either on record or video, with a little imagination and work. What I don't want is endless rehashing of things on coloured vinyl or similar. It is wasteful, and let's face it these things are just sitting on shelves - collected. That is not meant as a criticism of anyone who enjoys these, but I stopped buying these a while back now and am not missing them at all. What I would like to see is things such as the expanded Mind Games, Material World etc. We get to experience something new. So, for 2025, yes, a new album from Paul and Ringo, but also a return to regular McCartney Archive releases, Rubber Soul SDE, Shea Stadium on video, Some Time In New York City deluxe, Bangladesh SDE/bluray... the list could go on.
