So your the guy who bought this engine? I too have been going to Colebrookdale Train Stop recently after discovering them. Bill, Chris and Tim are awesome guy's. So far I've bought three Premier Line steam engine's from them. A NYC J1e Hudson, DAP PRR L1s Mikado and PRR K4s Pacific. This engine came from a collection they bought which also included the two other Pennsy steam engine's I just mentioned I picked up. The original owner of Ye Olde Train Shop had died of a heart attack and the rest of the guy's decided to keep the shop going by relocating to a new building in Boyertown, PA. Awesome place.
The layout is really coming along. I'm also a big fan of mth premier steams. I do wish the whistle was deeper more throaty for the big steam . I have many original protosound premier steamers, finishing up this week on my new atlas track layout. Hope I can eventually landscape, inspired by you. Im a one man crew, by myself so it takes a long time. Please do a coal load tutorial
BIG fan of Colebrookdale Train Stop. Recently picked up 3 Legacy engines there. 1st Lionel engines I have purchased. Heavy Mikado, 4-6-0, and GP-30. Great place and local!
Nice to hear the shoutout for Colebrookdale Train Shop. My local train shop as well! Great guys there. Love the coal loads. Please do a how to video on them. Also, who made those hoppers? I like how the short sides of them come up a bit to prevent spill over.
It was my first time at the shop since they moved. Will do a video on the coal loads. Those are MTH 2 bay offset hoppers. They’re the older versions from early 2000s, not as detailed as the new releases

@@erictrainman do you know of any budget MTH engines? I really like the smoke.
@@eliteproductions7636 any mth ps2 or PS3 engine will have similar smoke. Check out the 2-8-0 starter set engines
The PENNSY back in the day did not have that style coal car it is not prototypical!!!
Neither is the 3 rail track or the great big couplers 🤷♂️. Doesn’t bother me
