The slot I had for the seventies was quite tight--I had to choose only one amongst "Stars Salute Israel", "From Funny Girl to Funny Lady", and "The Barbara Walters Special". I ended up with the Walters show because it showcased a new Streisand to a new audience. Moreover, I have already included "Stars Salute" in my "Streisand Live" video. I also felt it would be tough to add the Walters show to any of my future thematic projects, so now was the best time.

Thanks, Charles! I was restricted by space for that particular decade. I had to choose between the FG-FL clip or the Barbara Walters clip. When Barbara passed away last December, I had my answer. I'm still hopeful that I can complete a golden-anniversary video of "The Way We Were"--if I manage to pull it off this year, I'll add the FG-FL clip of her singing the song.
