Superman said that he would be one of the few beings he knew of that would put up a very difficult fight. If you consider Fernus as Martian Manhunter then most Superman iterations would lose. I wish they didn’t drop the the relationship between J’onn and Aubrey as well as the semi-immunity to fire from the burning Martian arc.
Martian Manhunter is undoubtedly one of the most tragic heroes in history. He literally witnessed his entire species being cruelly enslaved and eradicated, and yet he never gave up and did everything he could to protect the Earth from suffering the horrible same fate, no matter how cruel and wicked the human race could get. The respect we all have for him should be INFINITE
Don’t forget the racism he may suffer from which he highlights in Injustice. Though that’s probably mostly in the injustice universe. And we all know how the injustice universe is and the liberties it takes with some things. Him always taking a human form among the people he trust as despite everything he does. Despite both being sons of dead worlds. Humans will always love and flock to what is familiar to them. Rather than a “monster” like him.
*Fun fact:* There's a pretty funny JLI story that perfectly shows how extremely dangerous J'onn can get if he doesn't eat his Oreos. One day, Booster Gold and Blue Beetle decide to troll the Martian by getting rid of all the Oreos in town, thus preventing him from eating his favorite snack. This situation causes J'onn to suffer severe withdrawal symptoms, which end up turning him into a mindless monster that destroys everything in his path until the members of JL send him to a factiry full of Oreos to calm him down. I think it's not necessary to say that Booster and Beetle's prank didn't improve their popularity...
Jfc when are people going to shut up about Plastic Man? Martian Manhunter, Superman, Aquaman and even Green Arrow have dunked on his ass. Plastic Man's beat quality is he's essentially immortal, which is cool, but that doesn't stop him from getting his ass beat.

How'd you find my old pfp of Cyclops 💀
If manhunter becomes one with fire then sups starts shitting himself
Bruh if you're saying Superman DESERVES to be overpowered please stop reading the comics
?
Superman base strength is stronger but MM only has to alter himself to be as strong. The difference is that superman doesn't need to change his body to reach his potential but MM has to consciously form his body to be better. I love them both.
Only Plastic Man can fight Martian Manhunter.
Canonically manhunter has matched him in strength at least 3 times but no show ever wants to show Superman not being the most powerful of heroes …. Even though he’s not
"As strong as superman"???
Bro, every time MM is on screen in the Justice League cartoons all he does is clutch his head because of a headache.
can't expect mainstream audiences to watch the supergirl show, but now he was on that loooooong ass justice league movie, so let's go
Not to mention MM is nearly as tough, and recovers from catastrophic damage wayyyy faster.
Hell what about icon
Fun fact superman once said that martian manhunter is probely the strongest being on earth and he is also stronger then superman and could easely beat the whole justice league exept batman ofcaouse
Jfc shut up
Stronger... Doesn't need a sun...
5:36 A private island costs 1 million dollars, so if all click subscribers pitched in $1 we could buy the private island and establish Hell 2.0
Superman said himself that J'onn is the most powerful person on earth
