It always heralded a great action scene, where Jonny, Race, Hadji and/or Dr. Quest were in peril. Man I wish I were 6 again and seeing this stuff for the first time.

One of the funniest episodes in the series. As someone noted, the Jonny Quest music playing when Fred flips out is great. Another great episode is the parody of the James Bond films...Jay Bondrock...whoever did Madame Yes's voice should've gotten a medal. "I'm too important to be blown up."

I actually think Fred’s uncle and his employees deserved what they got in the end not just because Fred’s uncle faked his death which is a crime but also because it was implied the will was a forgery which again is a crime as well as Fred and Barney being scared out of their wits all night. As they say what comes round goes around.

I loved the cross-over use of the Jonny Quest music. This scene burnt itself into my memory when I was 5, 6 or 7, undoubtedly because I was a real fan of Jonny Quest (and I still am at 63).
1964-1965 was the start of the spy/superhero/science fiction/british invasion and/or beach boys craze highlighted by Johnny Quest...and trickled down to the rest of the Hanna Barbera cartoons.

Like Space Ghost,Herculoids,Birdman,Galaxy Trio,Mightor,Moby Dick,just to name a few,plus there was the "fight music" when some hero like Space Ghost would be engaged in combat with an adversary,like in the episode,"The Heat Thing"....not to mention,this same bit of music was also used as background in at least two of the Superfriends episodes with Wendy and Marvin.
