  • CLEANING PROCESS
    In a cooker boil the clams adding enough water ,salt and turmeric pdr.6whistles.
    Open the cooker and drain off the water.
    Then wash again with hot water ,3 more times.
    COOKING PROCESS
    1.)In a pan ,take 1tbsp coconut oil.
    Add 1/4cup of fresh coconut pieces.
    2 )When the coconut is sauted a little,add one big onion sliced,curry leaves and a piece of ginger chopped along with 2or 3 green chillies chopped.
    3. )When the onion becomes slightly caramelized,add 1tsp ginger garlic paste.
    Saute that too.
    Now add masala pdrs.
    Red chilli pdr 2tsp
    coriander pdr 2tsp
    turmeric pdr
    (Can add garam masala pdr also).
    4 ) Saute the masalas on liw flame.
    5 Now add the boiled and cleaned clams.
    Mix it well with the masala .
    Lower the flame,Cover the pan and cook for 2or 3 minutes.
    In between,dnt forget to open the lid and give a stir.
    6 At the end ,add a tsp or 2 of coconut oil and mix once again on high flame.
    The taste of the dish only comes if its roasted well.
    So dnt add water.
    Add some more curry leaves.
    And its ready.
