I totally relate to struggling with black and white thinking after religious trauma. It truly is so ingrained, and sneaky too. I didn’t realize for a long time how I had left the religion but still kept the fundamentalism in certain ways. Like, I had a completely new worldview with leftist values, but was still approaching it with perfectionism, dualism, etc. It’s a relief to hear someone from a similar religious background talk about that! Thanks so much for sharing, and all your other thoughts in this video. I appreciate it!
