Basically like the Alhaitham in Hyperbloom. The Hyperbloom is a bonus while The main dmg dealer maximize every utils from the dmg bonus/atk the crit and the break effect.
@@icariamcgordon358 He does Great on field dmg whilts utilizing EM buffs, Will do Spread Dmg, and is the perfect driver with Kuki with Xingqiu/Yelan. He has decent AoE and a good rotation usually ends up with everyone having full or almost full er due to his long mirror mechanics rotation
@@Naz-jc5tp This is a small increase for crit damage but pretty big boost for super break (main damage here). 12% increase if the set is the only source of def shred and better if not. But yeah, new set for break teams will be a good alternative for Xueyi (especially against enemies with no quantum weakness).

Boothill and Xueyi are stuck 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 to use HMC to get the same value. I hope they change it back. And I agree with all of your previous points as well, ppl tend to overestimate the value of a lot of sets in this game, as they just aren’t good enough to be the end all be all even for their respective characters and niches.
Got HMC E5 today, so I managed to 2 cycle as well but with SilverWolf instead of Gallagher (I can't level him up yet). My Xueyi is E5, my builds are probably very mid (and DDD S1 can't help me). But my SilverWolf is E1, this is a huge help.
I accidentally farmed a bit too much of salsoto then i realized talia would be better (is it? ) And then theres the upcoming break effect set.. *thinking
I just felt like for that run, it was the best option. I only get to ult twice in those two cycles, but I'm close to maxing her out, ult, and talent after the double SU drops.

She really is a big part, but the team isn't unplayable without her. Pela/Welt/Asta can be ok for f2p options (or even tingyun). You just need to build more BE on her

Salsotto can work if your pieces are good. Honestly, rainbow if you have to, just get a good balance of stats
