Arkanoid and robotrek are two of my favs
I think I played the Windows version of Earthworm Jim. Great game!
I have turned bubsy the cat into a robot named arkanoid. I took the robotrek route of assembly. Earthworm Jim will never laugh at me again. He'll probably still laugh at me!
@@kmankevzink I wouldn't laugh at you. Jim is a jerk
SALT PORK!
Robotrek is one of my favorite SNES RPGs. I've always had a soft spot for tech characters (computer hackers, engineers, mechanics, and inventors) and games where we can play as them. Plus I was bullied a lot in elementary school, middle school, and junior high so the idea of having a squad of combat robots at my command certainly had appeal. Unfortunately my copy was thrown out by mistake when my family moved a couple of months before high school and that was one of the games I never managed to replace.
Edit: I see Spanless gamer was like me in Robotrek always trying to read books long before my characters level was high enough. To be clear to understand a book in Robotrek you have to be the same level as the book or higher.
@@roguerifter9724 seems like a really cool game, right up my rpg/sci-fi/nerd alley
I'm shocked that you named your Robotrek character "Butt", yet failed to comment on the fact that the character creation screen literally says "wipe back end" 😂
@@Stjernefodt- damn it. I've lived a life with no regrets. Now I have a regret.
I like the Genesis version of Earthworm Jim a bit more, the gritty sound chip in it goes a bit better with the graphics. The Sega CD version is even better with extra bonus levels, CD quality music and a password feature. The only crime is that it goes for over $300.
@@owlbelieveit6811 ouch. I was all about getting it until I read that price. Sega CD is one of the retro console I actually own. I only have a handful of games for it though.
@@spanlessgamer I own one too. I have 21 games for it, a mixture of cheap crappy titles and the occasional expensive one, like Lunar 1 and 2, Terminator, Final Fight and Sonic CD.
@@owlbelieveit6811 terminator is awesome
@@spanlessgamer especially the music, what a soundtrack.
