Great video. I love Anthropology. The short trench in my opinion just seemed a little too short and voluminous? I’m to the point if I don’t love it anymore I don’t buy it because it’s a high likelihood it will sit in my closet. The denim dress the hardware looks attached backward and the strap would have to be unstitched where it meets the dress to fix it. I love the white eyelet. Hope you keep that one.
You are so right! I think I want to love it, but it’s just not flattering on me. I’m glad I tried it. And it doesn’t have pockets so I think that settles that. Yes the eyelet dress was my ultimate fav, so definitely keeping that! Thank you for watching and commenting 😊🌻
You're always able to find such wonderful items. The utility dress (after exchanging) and the eyelet dresses are my faves. 💖💖 I like the epaulettes on the jacket; however having pockets/hand pockets are quite essential...imo. I'm considering the cropped jacket or vest from BR, at this time. Tfs 🌿🌺🌿
Thank you!🌻 I went into the store and they didn’t have them so I’ll need to reorder online and see if the dress arrives made correctly, hopefully it was just a one off. I think the no pockets in the trench is the deal killer for me… I was already on the fence, generally no pocket jackets are a hard no for me…. It’s just not practical. 😉

I love the cropped trench. The only thing I don’t like is that the sleeves are so long but those can be shortened by a good tailor. For me, it’s too pricey (yes I can comfortably afford it but I couldn’t justify it for me). On a side note, I did order the cropped black trench from BR. Price was right and looked amazing on
I wanted to love it and I do, just not on me or for me…and yes I agree the price was high for a trendy item that may not get that much wear or longevity. 🌸Yay! I’m hearing so many ladies picked up that cropped BR trench! I’ll need to do a lookbook on it soon 😉 I don’t wear black a lot in spring/summer but still a little sometimes. I think it’ll really shine in the fall!
I think the problem with the cropped trench outfit is the jeans and belt you are wearing with it, in my humble opinion a high rise jean and no belt would be best 😉
Great idea! I did think about no belt but I was already wearing it… this was just a try on. I could’ve tried harder to style it and I think I would’ve if it had pockets…. Hi. The cropped trench is beautiful. No pockets? Yikes. Lol ... I loved the denim ecru dress and the white eyelet one. Do you think unhooking the strap and twisting it would fix the problem? I hate when companies charge to have something returned. 😏 TFS and have a great day.
I loved it, but just not on me…and the no pockets was the ultimate decider. I didn’t see how it was possible to fix the strap, so I had to return it sadly. I don’t like return fees either but multiple return fees is just ridiculous, couldn’t believe it, had to share that info. Thank for watching and commenting Linda 💕

Years ago I found a trench swing coat. It still looks so good. BTW... I found it at the Goodwill. Probably paid about 5 dollars.

Just my opinion....I really don’t think you should keep the cropped trench. Can you possibly see yourself grabbing it in cooler weather over and over? Also, it’s so big on you. Oh yeah....that price!!!! Ahhhhh!
I know, you’re right… and this is an XS!?! It’s too oversized for me still and no pockets, I’ll be returning it. But I’m glad I tried it. Looking for one like this but with a relaxed fit and pockets😉

Yes I have that one, I did a lookbook on it already as well, it’s so lovely 😉 I think I’ll wear it more in the fall and winter though. But recently I picked up a cropped black trench that I love as well. I just find I always need a jacket at least part of the day…. Most of the year…. So I like lots of choices. 🌷

It frustrates me when people call shirring as smocking. They are different. Smocking is pleated and hand embroidered across the pleats.
