The traditional frame paired with the modern lamp and candle holder truly made the traditional frame fit in and maintain the modernity. That was my favorite today. Our thrift stores never offer the low prices you find. Coffee mugs here are priced at 2.99 at Goodwill.

They have removable vinal wallpaper now. You could even do just a temporary arch for a pop of color or get the little ones such as x's or +'s that you can add in a pattern to your walls. I like the large jewel toned floral prints.

Little tip for adding contact paper: Spray some water mixed with a few drops dish soap at the surface first, then add the contact paper, after that take a towel and press out the water from the middle to the sides. So you have a bubble free surface... I`m totally in love with the candle holder you found! Greets from Austria!

You have awesome thrift stores! Ours are like flea markets with mainly old, and broken items. An occasional find, but rarely is anything close to a dupe. It's hard to thrift when it's mainly junk.
Very cool dupes. The lamp is my fav and I hope you bought both since there was a matching pair. And the pale pink vase from your MIL might be Fenton which is highly collectible. But regardless, it's sweet and definitely fits rhe Anthro vibe.
Beautiful dupes. One suggestion for making candles work…museum putty. You can find it on Amazon. They also make a gel. It can be used to hold small items on a shelf or table so the young ones don’t knock them of 😊

Use your blow-dryer on the plastic-film covered shelf. That will make it shrink-wrap around the wood piece.
And manchets for the candles.
