I think I can say I have been subscribed for a long time to your channel, those early Govilion videos and your glass videos which gave me the inspiration to to look for and try and learn about drinking glasses plus more. Dealing mainly in ephemera storing thousands of pieces of paper is not to much of an issue but it’s still a lot of plastic boxes.I’m in the process of sorting out anything else I have that’s not ephemera and getting rid of that so everything becomes a bit more compact to manage. I probably may not have liked a few of the things you have bought over the years, but that’s only natural, we can’t all like everything! I often find your objects and research fascinating and love the videos, long may they continue.

Interesting video Walter, particularly about your business aspirations. I know you generally work to targets, so at what point will you need to take on staff and premises to successfully operate the multi million pound business? I'm interested as you have always been a one man operation. Regards, Mark.

@@AntiquesArena I can imagine! At some point you need to avoid burnout as well as managing the practicalities. Yes, it's an added expense, but it will free up your time to keep creatively growing your business. If you can afford it, I'd do it. M.

I have actually been chatting to a friend of mine who has a teenage son who has just finished school. Thank you for the video again the reason why I asked for this is because majority don't show it and it definitely gives some insight
I've also been subscribing for years
Storage boxes look great however my only recommendation would be to get some shelving lugging them boxes each time is a massive hassle and simular to what I'm doing myself
I'm currently working on adding shelving and having my creates on shelving hence when an item sells I can instantly pull a box and grab the item especially since My health took a bad turn a few years ago and I'm thinking for practical for long term
Again myself, adding shelving and going to be using ladders to be able to reach higher boxes and stacking them starting with this house and then just focusing on getting it all listed. I do prefer really handy storages boxes over totes, and I have stacked them over 15 foot high being able to see into the boxes has been a real advantage
However my outlook is completely different then yours I don't buy anything i like because I have zero attachment to anything
Also another idea for a video for some fun for you as a dealer I come across items like elephants with downward trunks which is tabbo for most dealers because they are unlucky and also coming from a traviler background I cant buy anything with pecocks since it symbolises death in my culture and religious items I cannot throw in the bin
What other dealer suppositions have you came across and do you have any you avoid?

Hi Martin. Thank you for your comment. hope you enjoyed the film. i did consider shelves but then i would need double or triple the storage i have currently, and atm i am not willing to add the extra expense, but i am thinking of buying somewhere in which case i would store at the new location and use shelves. i will make a film about superstition in antiques, i think that would be an interesting one. not sure when but will defo do it mate. thank you

@AntiquesArena it'll cost you the top row you could use 3 by 2 timber pretty cheaply too totally understand that you may need another container
Did you manage to sort those sheds out?
Also been hunting for property for awhile hardly anything pops up down my end llanelli area at least for a releastic price at least commercial

I do both I buy form auction or carboot and sell to trade and public on the boot and markets . My profits go into early milled coins wich I get graded in america when they are back I send them to auction with coin dealers to put under the hammer . My next sale is September and I get 0% sellers fees. I've got 2 william iii sixpences one rare bull veriety 1237 and 1820 crown they cost £600 all in with grading fees I've got a £1150 reserve set . Theybare being sold in rwb auctions

All I can honestly say is well done. The auction house clearly value your custom and would rather make the buyers premium off your lots than not have them. You done an amazing job there. But it’s no doubt represented by the top end items you offer them.

You can't teach drive and determination. If one job, occupation does not work, try something else. Eventually you will find something that works. If you are anything like me I always go alone because others let you down. They don't teach common sense or personal finance management at school either. A bit of a waste of time if you ask me.
