I agree with Antonio. I'm listening to this song since hours on repeat, because it really calms me down. It's perfect for meditation or relaxing and just daydreaming. :)

But heilungs music is also really peaceful it can just take you away from reality and bring you to another world like an image you in a forest in a viking clan or just somewhere with a waterfall with an axe a village just having a good time and basically enjoying nature.

Good afternoon gentlemen, loved this. There is something very powerful and primal about this sort of music. It speaks not only to the heart but also the soul. Thanks for sharing, have a lovely day.

I was never really into Heilung, but I recently saw them live at a festival. The performance is basically a big shamanistic ritual, including burning of sage and smoke cleansings. No recording does the rumble of the percussion justice in my opinion. In the live performance the music does not only enter you trough your ears (and eyes if you watch a video), but engages all your senses. I walked away from this experience as a big fan.

This has become my fave Heilung song. And I agree that the song and the video are meant to be intertwined. I think I would have liked the song anyways, but the video really pulled so many emotions for me. Great casting, with stunning visuals, it has seriously been on repeat. I'm really looking forward to their full album release.

I love this song so much. It’s actually written in the video describtion, that the volume of the vocals is purposefully quite low as to blend in with the instrumental.
And to show off my German skills - Heilung ist pronounced „high-loong“

Maria's singing is so wonderful. I don't know if it's just her natural tone, or if it's some technique she uses for these songs, or if they've just written songs to her strengths. In either case, it's really an amazing experience to listen to her sing. I also love her work in Norupo and their new song "Drif" showcases her nicely as well. I'm jealous if you're going to see them live.

This is very interesting. Although Heilung has never been a metal band, they get often invited to metal festivals.I think a lot of that is due to the fact that their live performances are based on pagan rituals and can get quite scary, almost horror-like. A very special band,no doubt. And if you haven't yet,you should watch Hailung's live performances on YT. Great stuff.

They figured out how to be metal without guitars, basses, or blast beats. Stereotypically, most metal fans are of Germanic European heritage, so we connect. And even without that heritage, we ALL have tribal routes that are fairly similar. There's nothing more metal than reconnecting with your tribal self.

This one should be a reminder to us modern people, that we all belong to the nature. We all lived as primitiv people with diffrent Gods, Nature Gods, people worshipped nature and its animals insects and so on. They ate animals, but they prayed for the animals soul. You can find it anywhere back in the history of us human beings.

On this occasion, the members of the group provide us with invaluable information about the song and its lyrics.
The lyrics for this piece are mainly taken from bracteates: golden, circular coins or amulets found in Northern Europe that date from the 4th to 7th centuries CE. They are often fitted with a decorated rim and loop, which indicates that they were meant to be worn and perhaps provide protection, fulfil wishes or for divination.
The bracteates feature a very significant iconography influenced by Roman coinage. They were predominantly made from Roman gold, which was given to the North Germanic peoples as peace money.
In Anoana, the listener has the chance to delve into a collection of likely encoded spells from the Migration Period and get a touch of magic from the Dark Ages.
The intention of the piece is to playfully reconnect to an incantational language of a period where the North was richer in gold than any other region. Our forefathers presumably enjoyed a time of great prosperity and it may make us rethink how dark these ages real.
    This is the original letter:

You have to listen to other songs from the group, guys. There are also faster songs but I can promise you one thing, it will always trigger the same thing in you. Inner peace. Feeling grounded. I've had years of depression, anxiety and not just in general. I was so afraid of the dentist, if anything had to be done it had to be under general anaesthetic. Today ? With the music in my ears I can manage everything. It gives me strength. That is the origin of music, why it exists at all. It should heal, strengthen and give courage. Shamanism only works in connection with music.

my take on black beard and white wolf. Looks like black beard has some repressed emotions and doesn't know how to feel or nervous about showing it, trying hard to not piss people off. white wolf struggled to keep his head drumming to the beat as emotion overcame him at 5:30 lasting rest of song. Great Reaction to dissect thankyou

You both need to do more research before reacting to a video. You both mispronounced the name multiple times. The name is pronounced 'HIGH-Loong'. When you pronounce it as Hay-lung you disrespect the meaning of the name.
