Hell no. Just because you like it doesn’t mean everyone else does. I have a 23’ Acura RDX, and its perfect. Heated & Cooled seats, 16 speaker sound system, all for 48k? Sign me up.

True. I’d definitely look at one if I was in the market for a new car. But I just don’t see the point in dropping that much when I can get a nice used one for thousands less. Got a 15 accord for $14k and it does the job very reliable. No point to me in buying new.

Is this the best economy sedan made in the past 20 years? Kinda seems like it on paper. VW interior quality and tech, full modern safety suite, manual transmission, 0-60mph in 7s, >50mpg, looks normal and actually pretty good, readily available to buy and with zero dealer markup… for $21,315 in 2023’s Monopoly money. What a killer bargain.

I have a 2023 VW Sport 6 spd manual. Had it since June and I love it. I’ve had a 2015, 2018, 2021 and this 2023 all brand new at delivery . With the first three I wanted manuals, test drove them and liked the automatic better so bought automatics until this 2023. Finally got it right.

How come the car tells you to shift so early? Is it for longevity? It tells me to shift into second when going 10mph, third gear when going 20 and fourth gear when going 30? This is only my second manual car, I got it in March last year but before that I had a 2004 Saturn Ion which I NEEDED to shift when the car told me to otherwise it would nearly redline.

sad how the mighty have fallen....not sure I'm on board with the "American" Jetta (and definitely was not on board with the American Passat. euro flare washed down the toilet. I miss my mk4 gti and all of its quirks despite being irritating at times....

True but it's manual, 0-60 7 secs, 1/4 mile 15 secs, $20k, and get gets 50 mpg on 87 octane. What else does this?
