💭This was such an unexpected end to the fight. Love seeing the new characters too and glad I got to hear Buddha's dubbed voice (I'll be switching to sub for the rest of the fights). Who is your favorite character to date?
@@transyuri4534 are you talking about the side story? The one where it gets revealed that he was a different serial killer called “mr.anonymous” who only killed evil or wicked people thus “giving anyone the chance to sparkle” including the real Jack the Ripper who’s name he took after killing him when he was about to claim his sixth victim? That story was wild.
Sasaki followed by Buddha and Jack are definitely my favorite characters. They’re just so good. Gotta say, they said that Hercules has an unbreakable will, but Jack also clearly has that. He fought Hercules knowing for a fact because of his eye that all of Humanity didn’t really care for him or want him to win. Even had a dream of what he wanted and he’d of been able to see that dream forever had he just stopped. Man’s was truly a beast til the end.
Yup, even Herc himself admitted that Jack was stronger than he seemed. Jack had been knocked down by two of Herc's punches to the cranium and still got back up to keep fighting, which Heracles acknowledged with no hesitation.
Great point! It is interesting that Hercules and Jack had similar stories but I feel that Hercules at least had friends and people that supported him where Jack really didn't have even that. I praise Jack for his will in the fight and tenacity here.
I mean, I can't blame Goll. They blindsided Heracles with a dirty fighter who in the end beat Heracles because he was so honorable. Goll is just emotional. She's the youngest sister, a kid in a lot of ways. And to her, Brunhilde just ruthlessly caused the death of someone they love. I don't think I can blame her for feeling upset and emotional
@Snuggles with Vy to be fair, it seems like the valkyrie sisters don't communicate much. Goll shows only a few interactions (as well as mentioning in Season 1 that the 13 Valkyries are never in one place at one time often). Honestly, I kinda have a feeling she doesn't really know much of Brunhilde (being surprised by her vulgarity like she had no clue just how foul mouthed Brunhilde could be). I will say too, Brunhilde gives a lot of mixed vibes, especially since she begins the fight by creepily monologuing about humanity's depravity and darkness XD
This is one of my favorite fights, was rooting for Jack the whole time but it was still sad at the end. Also the characters got drip. I love Buddha's design. All of the characters look cool.
Here’s a small fact and his biggest lie in a Mini manga about jack, it’s revealed that he not the real Jack the Ripper , which makes his little bow even more powerful
I think the end of this fight was best described by Anne and Shakespeare. The gods litteraly threw everything at Jack, from curses to stones while humanity kept silent about it. Like Anne said he fought the gods like he always did fight, alone. Even winning no one rooted for him. And that makes Shakespeares words even better and heavier, Jack is a human no matter how much others disagree. His motivation and feelings may seem twisted to others, but in core they are not so much different than ours. And he is a reminder that humans have a monstrous side, every one of them. Most of us simply deny it, since it's easier for us. And paradoxly, Jack understood Hercules better, than most on the god side. Hercules loved humanity, with all its flaws. The gods saw a hero, yes. A beacon of justice. But did they truly understood him? His motivations? I say no, they didn't. His conversation with Loki showed it best, cause the trickster didn't realy grasp it imho. Hercules knew about humanitys weaknesses, their failures, their cruelty. But he also knew, that not all humans are like that, that you can't put them all in the same corner. In that second, he earned my respect.
This is the most emotional fight imo. I know ppl will say Adam fight is more emotional. But later fights(I'll not spoiled it) getting less emotion but more flexing that's my take.
Idk buddha's fight had flexing but imo the 2 fighters' links and dynamic from buddha's fight was nearly on par with this one. I like the setting and plot of this fight better its super unique, but I think the buddha fight can't be reduced to just flex hype (not saying there wasn't some massive flexing involved)
Im a bit late to the party, but i remember watching this and feeling the same way about jack and hercules, and what made it hurt even more is finding out in the manga that jack wasn't even the real jack the ripper, his real name isnt even known but he was famous for being a killer with no remorse but still had class. He also took the name of jack the ripper cause 1) he killed the real one and 2) he wanted to be the symbol of the worst in humanity but to also show that despite there being evil in humanity, there is still beauty in it.
The people who were tossing stones at Jack were HUMAN spectators. Castor is a spectator for the humans. They are mad that a serial killer has killed someone who loved humanity.
@@ikmaen Why are you lying? Even in the manga it's much more clear that the humans tossed stones at him. Jack instead of being praised was abused by the humans. Even the narrator says so.
@@zamaskowany12 Nope, it's clear that it were the gods that threw stones at him. They had wings, pointy ears etc. The only human that nearly threw a stone was Castor, but he stopped himself since he remembered that Hercules wouldn't approve. The humans were simply silent, maybe out of shame or simply they couldn't admitt that a human like Jack won, someone that they didn't even think of being one in the first place. That's why Shakespeares words were so true and heavy, even people like Jack are humans, no matter if you deny it or not.
i know this part wasn't in your reaction but like what jack said about wanting to see herc again tho got me 😭 i honestly didn't notice the detail in buddha's eyes :O lmao buddha is a whole mood i love him 😂
Oh I wasn't sure if he was referring to Hercules or wanting to see his mother again. Buddha is hilarious and I can already tell he is going to be one of my favorite characters😆
Sorry, but you asked some questions I wanted to answer. First of all, the volundr process works when their emotions are the same. Jack's heart was filled with betrayal because of his mom, and the valkyrie also felt betrayed because he big sister just sat and watched as she was attacked. Second, Jack has a side story in the manga, and it reveals a lot about him that makes him an even better character.
Don't apologize! This is great, thanks for sharing! 😄 I have heard a lot about the side story. I haven't read the manga yet but definitely need to check it out for the details!
Sad to see Hercules lose but I really enjoyed this fight and liked how it was pretty strategic on jack side. How he used his wits to win. I was rooting for both 🙈 Buddha Subbed VA is gojo from jujutsu kaisen! Thanks for the reaction Vy! 🙌
Thank you so much, #SnuggleswithVy, for uploading this awesome anime reaction. I love your anime content because it's so cool, and I enjoy watching your reactions to different anime series.
For me, I don't think Brunhilde will be the last Volundr, I think Brunhilde will fight nearly the end and Brunhilde will lose then Göll will carry brunhilde's burden...
i remember watched a documentary about jack the reaper in hallowen a few years ago. Im not gonna lie, when he shows up as one of the heroes to represent mankind i was like "why this bastard is here?" lol Yeah, they changed a lot of his history to make him fit in the plotline. If the real jack the reaper would be put in a situation like this he would be hated AF by gods and humans at equal since the beggining of the fight
I started pretty late w this anime unfortunately but i think its pretty ironic how Jack wins and not even the humanity would willingly cheer for him. Jack himself is the epitome of the evil and madness that humans are capable of having/doing if their inhibitions are loose. But openly admitting that to ourselves is painful for a human’s pride. As Hercules said, humans are flawed characters. We probably deserved to be eradicated for sure simply bc of our greed. Not all humans are as righteous and pure/naive as Hercules so seeing Jack the Ripper fighting for humanity just shows that darkness is part of being a human whether we admit it or not. As much as I wanted Hercules to win for the sake of being the “good guy”, im actually happy that it was Jack who won no matter what everyone says. Good doesn’t always win, sadly enough, even irl
Göll was annoying at times but I have to remind myself compared to her older sisters she is too young and naive. She has her moments but I do realize when we are in her shoes we will get emotional too, but I just wish she won't kept on doing that behavior it does get on the nerves haahaha. Also details of Buddha's face mockingly imitating ebisu scream is always funny to me KEEP UP WITH THE AMAZING AND WONDERFUL SPECTACULAR WORK ❤
Yeah I feel for her because of her pain but she keeps directing it at Brunhilde.😖😩 Lol Buddha seems like an irritating opponent to fight. I love his character so much!

Jack and buddha all the way
The valkyries know all the memories from the human they volund with
That´s why Hlokk was feeling bad for Jack when they separated
Yeah you can definitely tell she feels pity for him and was even somewhat considerate about him after the fight compared to before the volundr.
It also makes her one of the few who know the truth of Jack's identity.

@@taniawilson6121tery probably are. And while that side story is ncie and intresting I personally wish it was the original Jack who took part
