It is not being discontinued. It is being revealed tommorow and in part it will be the "new version" of the classic FXRT with the mounted fairing, optional audio, and a 117ci engine.
I used to live in California and when I moved to North Carolina, I bought my Low Rider S here. Lots of memories growing up of camping trips out to Borrego Springs and Anza Borrego Desert. As a fan of the open road and road trips, one of the coolest places. Wish I could take my 2021 Low Rider S out there, it was awesome to see the bike in a place I’d love to ride it. I knew I recognized that abandoned gas station! Thanks for sharing man, great video.
Hey man! That’s awesome you got to grow up going camping out there. It’s such a beautiful place and I try to get there to ride as often as possible. Thanks for the kind words and ride safe!
I bought the last ‘21 model on the lot back in February. I knew the 117 bikes were out, but I test rode the 114 model and was super impressed and the dealership made me a great deal on the bike. I also didn’t want to pay the premium it would take to get into the new 117 model (so I just paid the premium for the 114 model 🤷🏻♂️) it’s a great bike, imo, and I have no intention of “trading up” for the new one. I’m perfectly satisfied with the 114 version. I am debating a stage 2, but honestly, it’s plenty fast enough for my needs as is. As for the touring version; people are paying outrageous money for that bike right now! It’s a nimble, lightweight, fast, great looking, touring option and probably the only bike I would consider trading my FXLRS for. It’s just too expensive right now.
All great points. I haven’t tried the touring version but suspect it’s probably spot on based on how the 117” feels but to your point, right now, it’s insane what people are paying to get their hands on one.
I have 20 LRS and already dumped Tons of goodies. Best softail I ever had honestly n still more mods to go. This bike is money pit if you staying away from stock platform but at the end of the day, it sure worth it. 😉
@Nate Beck so true... when I purchased mine when first 2020 LRS introduced, there weren't many vendors in market for m8 softail LRS, but now, everyone is on board woth this n own fabrication. I like to support locals n non Harley-Davidson n this far, I am getting where I planned this mod to be back in 2020.
There are leaked pics of the gunship gray, vivid black lrs. What is this guy talking about? My dealership already emailed me that are getting 1 of each color, first week of February. Give me a break.

Yep just saw that second reveal video Harley put out a few days ago.

@@NateBeck Absolutely! High hopes H-D keeps the FXLRS and makes it even better. We'll know for sure pretty soon. Ride safe man!

@@paulson9616 that’s always great seeing a vision come together on a bike. Props for supporting locals! I wish you safe miles and badass views
@Nate Beck will do. Enjoy n be safe
I thought they were releasing the touring in addition to the standard. There are leaked images of a FXLRS with 117 without fairings
I hope so! Ive seen the leaked images with the FXR style fairing but nothing without a fairing
@@NateBeck There are leaked phots of both.

@@King_Moose when did they email you? I haven’t gotten anything from my dealership yet.
