Take seed square cut the corner off the 90degree side about 3 1/2 in use any straight edge on flange side and speed square on pipe pipe don’t have to be level fit flange square with straight edge and speed square so much faster don’t forget two whole pins first tac . Are the good old square and tape method is good too
Jack Masse The flange on the opposite side is welded and should be square right?? Well just measure from the welded flange on for spots. The measurements should be the same. That's how you should square the flange being fitted 🤤
Why didn't someone tell him to level the pipe in the vice and then he could check if the flange is plumb on the face. He was using the ugly torpedo level as a spacer he could have used a tape measure for that. That would have wasted time too though.
