What's next for Ibiza 2023? Playa Den Bossa Ibiza Is CHANGING FAST!

- I show the changes in Playa Den Bossa, I’ll be honest! I used to think that Ibiza was just a place for tourists to go to party. With the tourist industry growing, Ibiza is becoming a destination that can be visited in its entirety. And the quality is improving! Four and five stars seem to be the minimum for new hotels with the likes of Ushuaia Beach Hotels, Vibra Hotels, W Hotels, Me Hotel which may start to attract a wider audience from countries further afield. With standards improving, this slowly but surely moves the island away from the cheap and cheerful weekends. Ibiza is a place that you have to see to believe. It's the kind of place where you can be walking down a street and suddenly end up on a wild adventure (for me anyway) Ibiza is the kind of place where people who aren't even born yet can become legends, and where people who are already legends have their own legends. It's got everything: sunsets, beaches, parties, art galleries, great food, good music… and one of the best nightlife scenes in Europe to the world!

Great vlog, was in playa den bossa back in August when it was bouncing. It’s weird seeing it so quiet. Been going to Bora over 20 years and it’s sad to see it go.
Been over 20yrs since I last partied on the beach at Bora Bora. Happy memories. Love the out of season videos.

There's nothing happening but
My first winter visit to the island was in 2010... Got some photos of the shell that would become the new Ushuaia Hotel... Also discovered Es Boldado when i was out for a massive cycle around the south coast!! Love that feeling of turning right and seeing Es Vedra in front of you for your first glimpse!! :D

Also so happy I was able to take the Mrs to Bora Bora there this year (her first trip to Ibiza) to have one last drink.

Another interesting vlog. I always stay in Figuretes and have used Mar Y Cel many times but I don't usually walk to Playa D'en Bossa 😁 I prefer Spring and Autumn to the Summer but I've never seen the beach that empty.

I've been to Ibiza several times, but always in the Summer. What is it like in late October? Are plenty of bars and restaurants still open, in the bigger places? And what's the weather like?
@@eyepod1967 It's as you might expect, really. The weather is changeable but not bad although it does get chilly, especially in the evenings.
As for things to do, you will find plenty of places still open but the clubs, bars and restaurants that exist solely to cater for tourists will most probably be closed.
I like the out of season time on the island because it is relaxing but you will not find all the excitement for which Ibiza is best known.
I hope Bora Bora comes back in some form. First time I came over staying in figuertas then walking into Bora Bora was iconic. You should always finish on a sunset.... 💙🏝❤🌅

There's not, theres Nassau, Beachouse, Tanit but not with pools!
Went to Boa Boa back in 98 was of the first time was great beach party club many good memory.
Was free beach party club , Gary gee was on one of the DJ which made the beach club become a great spot .
Party party food was good there. End of a era,Like club Space.

Made 2 friends for life in that bar. And on one of our later holidays together my friends got back from sourcing tickets to discover the street partying outside in the street below our apartment. Bora bora had been closed by the police. And I had my decks playing on the balcony. I always took an extra suitcase with my decks in. Haha.

progress is fine if its inclusive to everyone , sad to see the end of another iconic club, bora bora holds some great memories for me , from the days of spiderman to dancing all day last summer with someone special on their first " but not last " visit to the island , said it was magical ... I hope with all this " progress " that it dosnt loose that magic .

It is a shame about Bora Bora, it was always the pre-curser to space and great being able to be on the beach!! As soon as they put the guards up, it went downhill and the weird noise restriction thing really killed it off for me! 😢

Last june i was there❣️, but i feel allready the chance, 🤔i hinking not chance for the best. I come like 10 years now😘 but think first time that i think not going 2023. Did not feel the vibe annymore, and playa bossa was like old, not fun annymore🙄shame off Ibiza😪

Who would stay in Ibiza in winter 🤔 unless you have a very good full time job there.
People save a lot in summer and enjoy winter
@@DwayneMuffin I worked as an accounting manager in a ibiza lived there for 8 years. It was all about the money there were no jobs in Ireland at the time. I can count on one hand when I had time free to enjoy a nice meal in a restaurant. Perhaps my experience has cloud my evaluation of Ibiza.

@@minulee100 I agree that you can not stop change and i also think it is a good thing. But my opinion is that Ibiza needs to be a place that is affordable and open to everyone. Not only exclusive loud beachclubs, but just sitting on the beach and enjoying with a drink and some nice tunes.

Sorry, a shopping mall in Playa den Bossa? People don't go there to shop. They go to dance and get fucked up on booze and drugs. Bora Bora? We are in December, they can re do that place in a months. They did Ushuaia and Hard Rock in one winter.
