i feel like this song was about the time when he was experiencing his 'creative block' phase... the part where he said "You're losing your gift, and it's plain to see" , i think it refers to the time when he released his " worlds" album..and how successful it was ..
Liked this instantly. Super excited to hear the rest of the album! Very different tone from Worlds but feels mature in a way. After a few more listens to his songs, the more you get to see the scope he was trying to go for I feel. Excited to see more Porter Robinson reactions!
Definitely recommend checking out tristams new songs, theyre very mellow. He is very similar to eden in that he went from making heavy edm songs to more mellow pop, post edm songs.
