I use the Lightburn library, but I like the book idea. That would be nice for trying various settings on your materials, and then whichever worked best can go into the Lightburn library.
Great informational video! One thing I like to do for these things is to tape a piece of paper down to the bed and do a light engrave of the outer profile of your piece. Then just line your cork up in that!
Yeah, there are a couple different materials you should never do. Vinyl is one, can’t remember the rest. Will 100% damage your machine and prolly you too. Keep it safe and have fun!!
Instead of using that book. Just make a library in light burn with your cut settings for each material.
Definitely need to look more into this, still new to the game so learning every day!!

This is actually a great idea, thanks for sharing!!!!
That velcro will cut on the laser. For a faster more accurate cut, use your laser.
I will look into that, might need to do one extra trim cut around the piece
I was going to suggest thst too.
Awesome job! Do h have a link for your cork and Velcro
Awesome video! thanks for the process, I don't laser engrave but was awesome to see!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Informative video. Just want to mention the flag outline you have in your office is backwards. Union always goes on the viewers left.
Also you can place material on the left-upper corner - it’ll be more comfortable to adjust your laser
Hello! I’m also use Elegoo laser😊
Can you link the cork fabric/roll? Thank you!!
Got it from Weaver Leather Supply, go to their website and just search cork!
Thank you!!
Curious if youre using Offset Fill on tbe border or not. Might save a chunk of time if not!
I didn’t on this print, but I have used it in the past. I’ll try to print with that and see how it goes!
Nice video! Keep it up!
Thanks!
how about toxic fumes from certain materials? are you not afraid? real concern
Don’t worry, open up the garage doors when printin, and if not a little extra toxic fumes never killed anyone. I’ll just have 3 eyes in a year or two

So does the patch stick to just any old cap?
It has to be velcro, I also have fabric adhesive if I was going to put a patch on a hat
Can you link the velcro?
I’ll have to check, got it on amazon
Your choice of words from 0:30 through 0:48 is suspicious.
I like to keep people on their toes
