He didn't. I am not aware of anyone having cut clear acrylic with a diode laser. If he did, he doesn't show it being done. He just is just rambling and giving out some bad advice / information. In fact, most of his video is all talk. He shows very little of himself actually making any of these items he talks about.
Fail, you cannot cut clear acrylic with a diode laser..... time to do some research before giving out bad advice,also running a laser unenclosed without fume extraction is just daft.

That's the problem diode lasers can't cut clear acrylic 😢 it can cut transparent orange though

I wish I was told this before I bought a 40W diode laser. Ended up having to also buy a C02 laser for clear acrylic.
