Nice one guys very fair, nice to see the same test but with a 20-25 handicap, so we can really see what we would get, as in the real world most of us only dream of hitting it like you guys, keep them coming mate.
I would like a 18-28 handicap tester who’s avalible for vlogging at Huddersfield. I’ve tried it with a couple of people in the past and they’ve just fell apart on camera so bad that it’s just inconclusive and no use to anyone lol, apart from embarrassing them 😄
Interesting watch that Gaz, as I read last night that Rory has moved away from the Qi10 LS because it was too low spinning and is now using the standard model. Keep up these type off comparison videos, we all want to see these 🏌️
Yeah, we’re loving making videos together. We’ve got some great ones to come with some incredible results. They’re a little on the long side but we’re enjoying making them, even if they’re too long for most people, we think they’re some of the most informational on TH-cam, so we’re rolling with it 😃👌🏼
Excellent video. There are quite a lot of amateur golfers that this driver would suit because they deliver too much loft and spin at impact. Calling this a “better players” driver is a moniker that may have some higher handicap players shy away from it when in reality it would be the best club for them.
Great vid, just goes' to show newest isn't always the best, any chance of comparing Ping G400 Max (apparently the first 10k gsm driver) and the new G430 Max 10k? . Plus Sam hits a decent ball, kaboom!!!!!
I bought a Stealth plus 3 wood, last year at a great price! Rocket ship of a fairway! I’m not a fan of the Stealth 2 plus because of the big weight “gap” on the sole so when my local golf shop had a Stealth plus 5 wood at an amazing price, it was rude not to!
These driver heads are virtually the same. If the stealth actual loft is 0.5°higher than stated loft, and the qI10 is at stated loft, that would explain the slightly higher launch, I think the stealth is better based on feel and the rest is a wash. Great work on the numbers and the Eval. I don't see much of a difference. Good, honest review. Well done!
The thing i like is you DO NOT promote a club to your viewers. I appreciate that the likes of James (and a few others) get to test a load of clubs and try to give reviews but you dont promote anyone. I enjoy the variety of different types of videos whether its fittings.. older gear and value for money products. The grip videos were brilliant highlighting the difference in swing weights
A good honest review guys. Nice to have this sort of information if you’re looking to purchase a new driver. Any chance you could do the same with some of the new irons coming to the market?
Like the look of the Pings. But just like the driver market, irons have gone expensive. Would be nice to see if you think that the irons have made a jump in performance.
Great review. I currently own and thoroughly enjoy using the Stealth 2 plus equipped with a Ventus Blue Velocore. I am excited to try out the Qi10 and see how it performs.
@@craigsampson4602 The Ventus Velocore is a truly great shaft. Definitely worth the investment. You will not regret buying one. Just make sure you buy the correct profile.
@@richardskinner5050 thanks for the reply,I have used the Ventus blue 5 for the last two years in a sim 2 and I’ve just got myself stealth 2 plus head and was gonna go for the blue 5 velocore
@@craigsampson4602 that works. It depends how fast you swing and how you load the club. The Velocore Blue TR is also a great option. Check out Precision Golf for a comparison between the shafts and their profiles.
Well done Sam. I can’t justify the cost against the possible benefits. Think the comments at the end about getting fitted for a shaft upgrade makes a lot of sense.
I'm curious about you opinion on something Gaz. The rules of club conformity only measure heel-to-toe MOI, not combined MOI, and the legal maximum is currently 5900. So do you think the "10k MOI" craze actually means anything, or is it just a giant load of marketing bollocks?
Hey Lexx, I was talking to sam about it off camera, he doesn’t think this is new technology, and he thinks it’s just marketing. I don’t really know enough about it, but he said the Ping G400 would have been classed as 10K MOI in the way they’re calculating it.
How much better can they be! There are some that just need to have the latest and greatest clubs-irons! If you like your driver, looks, the distance, feel and sound, stay with it until it fails. I had a Cobra Fly Z I played until it cracked. You should be able to lease your clubs as an option if you have to have the newest, like an automobile. Lol! I do enjoy these comparisons though guys.
@@garymartingolf TM Q seemed straighter in that setting you had the weight in! I’m wondering what the results (his spin)would be using the Titleist ProV1X as opposed to the Prov1
Just changing the colour and saying it is better, longer and or more forgiving makes me want to stump up another £3-400 extra to upgrade last years driver. Not🤑 Looking at a shaft upgrade instead is a great option though.
Stealth 2 just scares me with the amount of broken faces, its a joke and big reason why I wouldnt even consider one! Love the feel of the carbon face to :(
@@garymartingolf Just google it for fun and see how many have gone, really poor showing from TM, I had an original M2 crack so seeing the problem with the stealths aswell makes me think TM dont seem to be up on quality control!
Gary, why compare new equipment in you existing spec, you need to refit new club to see if it can better your existing club. Otherwise it’s a pointless exercise.
This was for illustration purposes, to put both drivers heads, head to head to see what the differences were. I’m not personally in the market for a new driver, but if I were, the qi10 wouldn’t be able to be as optimised for me as I require more spin in my setup. Thanks
Instead of spending big bucks on a new shaft to get more spin. .Just change your golfball. The shaft may change the flight of the ball, but does minimal for spin rate.
It looks like the QI10 max is the only one that provides benefits and most probably only to an inconsistent ball striker. No difference with the other models.
Requiring lower spin but only if the speed is maintained at a fast level the whole round is what I took from that, so mainly geared to athletes with caddies rather than the average club golfer. I’m surprised the manufacturers haven’t tapped into selling the golf speed and strength training their athletes do yet as they can’t do anymore with the hardware.
The Stealth was a disaster of a club, face falling off, Tour Pro’s refusing to use it as it was unstable, so if buying new now, swerve it like the plague.

There’s no difference, the Qi10 just has the weight ports set slightly different to allow a lower spin setup.
I think drivers this year are about forgiveness not distance.
Can the weight in the driver's be moved during competition or do they have to stay where placed at the first hole
My understanding is you can change the club once you’ve used it on the course.
You can’t move the weight during competition

Sam has a cracking swing and hits the ball great 👌
