    Lol, retire it!!!! Such solutions for things that never should have been! The plazma cutter seems more interesting🎉 And one without a blinking screen 😂

      @arccaptain-weld Yes. What a machine now that the error codes are no more! Alot easier to use! I haven't got to try the full voltage yet! And for cutting on 120 volts I would have to say that cut threw some heavey metal very efficient like

    What adapter did you use to go from metric thread in the regulator to the npt air fitting. Thanks

    • @FMJeeping
      @FMJeeping  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It was an adapter I had kicking around the shop.

    Water seperator. Not sure separator.😅😅

  • @darrellatx

    Air Separator Regulator? How does that work do I need to do anything to it?

    • @FMJeeping
      @FMJeeping  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@darrellatx the air separator removes the moisture out of the air coming through the machine. It prolongs the consumables. The regulator controls the air flow . You have to balance the air flow and the volts to the thickness of metal so you can get a clean cut .

    I really wouldn't consider Lincoln to be a mid grade welder, they have been around for a good many of years

    • @FMJeeping
      @FMJeeping  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Fair enough. I wasn't trying to talk down about Lincoln. The Lincoln's I have seen were mid grade machines. A lot of people have had great luck with them, but mostly diy 'ers.

    It's beautiful and this modern tech has unbelievably improved and reduced the size and weight most 50 am plasma are big and heavy. It goes from 240 to 120.

    I appreciate your comments. Our welders have those charts inside the cabinet. Buying it in a sale in the morning fot $199.

    I really liked your video. Thank you. Just some info and a question. When you are cutting-watch the sparks. If they are or start going out the end or coming up-stop right there and start from there again. Question--do you have any idea of the CFM at the highest pressure -which I think your highest was 60 PSI ? Thanks again.

    • @FMJeeping
      @FMJeeping  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the tip. The highest the machine is rated for is 60psi iirc .

    For the Price I would say it beats Lincoln simply over the price and weight and performance for price

      Thanks Dan. It's not a bad little machine and will be nice to have in the shop. The death wheel has its place. But so does a plasma cutter

    How do you change the quick disconnect?? I took the case off and can’t figure it out and don’t want to just pull the blue part

    • @FMJeeping
      @FMJeeping  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The quick disconnect on the air line can be changed without taking the case apart. I added it so I can quickly put it on my compressor. Normally it takes 2 wrenches. You hold the nut on the machine side steady. Don't let it twist. Then you tighten on the air compressor side. To remove it is the same idea. Hold the air separator (machine side) steady. And back off the air fitting

    • @pauls5711
      @pauls5711 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I used a pair of vise-grips to hold the square part of the regulator and a 14mm wrench to unscrew the hose fitting. They use thread sealant so it requires some force

    I’m just learning to weld at 58. I purchased one of these a few weeks ago and I’m going to get it set up tomorrow now that I have the rest of my equipment set up. Thank you so much for posting this video.
