  • Hi Everyone! This week we headed out to the local old-car junkyard again, and scooped a very cool 1958 Studebaker Commander 2-door Hardtop! I've never seen one, so I had to have it, of course! I also sewed up half of the rear seat for the 1960 Plymouth Fury, and then its off to visit Agent 7678 and check out his fantastic RCMP cruiser find that had been sitting in a field for 40 years!
Thanks also to everyone who subscribed to our channel here, and thanks also for all of your "likes" and comments! If you would like to help keep our channel going, you can get a sticker, hat or a coffee mug at:

If you can find a venue where those of us in the States who have a fixed income don't have to pay as much for shipping as for the swag, I'd love to buy some of your overpriced merchandise. I'd rather pay too much to you than to shippers. I once had a friend from Canada whom I did not totally dislike, so I'd like to contribute so you can put a few shekels into the stream of trade. Double the price to cross a presumably friendly border is too much for my blood.

If I could visit only one car museum in Canada this would be the one. The buildup for the police car had me guessing it was a 69 polara. More Fury work 👍

Scott, your sewing machines skills are
Exceptional for a rookie. I was an upholstery apprentice and now a tailor shop owner. The topstitching is very well done.

YAY!! DEAN jacked up the car and put a tire and wheel on. Tom says one nut will do, laughs, then leaves. 1958 Stude cleaned up really well! You do good work Scott! But I missed you bending metal this week. The Seats REALLY are looking great. Your Multi-talents just make us squirm with joy! Thanks for sharing, stay well and enjoy all there is to do! Rich

That looks like a superb rear bumper on the stude. I will take any of those cars as they would be a pyramid pile of rust dust here in Nova Scotia. Expert use of that Mr clean magic eraser to clean the barnacles off that old girl Scott.

It warmed my heart to see the Studebaker saved and it cleaned amazingly well! The Boogie Van was fabulous in the sun but the 74 RCMP Monaco really made my day! A small correction, they still made the base Monaco in 1976 but it had concealed headlights too. I have one, a triple green bare bones one. It was sold new in Finland with a 440 like all others but at almost half price compared to a loaded up Brougham.

Be proud about the upholstery! You show people with the right effort it’s possible diy it. Tangled thread could be due to loose thread on the bobbin or the timing of the machine being slightly off.

Scott, YOU HAVE TO light body work and paint the Studebaker. Come on man that car is begging to be put back on the road as unique as it is. Put that one on the "will it run list" for one of the nearly next episodes. I am so glad you escaped injury twice from Dan flogging you with the tree, and then Dean with the the almost jack handle mishap. Cannot wait to see the Blues Brothers Monaco project started. Thanks to Ash for bringing out the Bodacious Boogie Van. Man it really pops in the sunlight!

Hey that is a cool Studebaker you bought there. It has the right home now. I love Dean's enthusiasm in helping you out. He is a great friend. For someone that is not a car seat guy, those seats are really nice. The police car made me smile the second I saw it. I can't wait to see it running. Keep up the great work guys. The new camera is very clear.👍👍👍👍👍
