Hot take: The white Dino ranger Is the best evil Ranger by far, he had this dr. Jekyll and mr. Hyde type of dynamic, his voice was so intimidating and badass and him being smarter and stronger than the others without any help was just awesome

I said this in another post but the Dino Thunder team never beat the White Ranger they fought a total of three times and got mopped up every single time😂
Why does no one ever realize that the Trent Mercer wasn’t even the sixth ranger, he was the fifth.
Somehow, for all that matters to other fans, the other rangers inactions towards Trent kinda pissed me off and seems concerning to me, all of my reasons are tied to Dino thunder being a spiritual successor to mighty Morphin and if that wasn’t the case, I’d be a little less pissed and concerned.
Doggie Cruger AKA Shadow Ranger was always special to me
He was basically like the Master Splinter of the Power Rangers universe

I had a vhs of all the zen aku and merrick story ark when I was a kid I wore that thing out until it didn't work anymore I watched it at least 5-6 times a day I still say zen aku is the coolest most badass villain turned hero in power rangers history he is really cool when he is zen aku in full wolf garb and black cape
How the heck is a kid supposed to follow this story? I don’t remember power rangers going so in depth as a kid. Here I am 29 years old and all the back stories blow my mind. I’m about to go on a power rangers marathon to get all caught up!

My mom would wake me up every Saturday at 8 am back when Light Speed, Time Force, and Wild Force was on she was low key hooked cause the character back story’s and development was pretty good.
Eric is honestly the best 6th ranger. His motivations, and determination to be a ranger was truly inspirational. He was focused on goals, and gave all he has to gain more power.

2 reasons the Quantum Ranger may objectively be the most badass ranger ever:
1, he was the only 6th ranger to appear in forever red and yes Tommy *WAS* a 6th ranger but was using the red Zeo powers so it doesn't count.
2, Hes played by the son of Sparda and father of Nero: Virgil.

One thing that bothered me about the Dimensions in Danger episode is how they scrapped Tommy’s previous relationships with Rocky and Trent. Tommy was Trent’s teacher and mentor, and Tommy even felt a stronger connection to him over the others due to him being in a similar situation to the green ranger. It just kinda sucked not see any of that in the episode.

Dimensions in Danger was just so rushed since it had to be a single episode, every returning ranger except Tommy got nothing to do and it's such a shame. The returning rangers are all all-stars of their seasons (except maybe Rocky), I'm so sad they skipped their morphs too
Cam is hella underrated.. he’s actual one of the strongest rangers in the show and comics verse he’s hella powerful and smart.. and your explanation perfectly explains why he’s so strong, his morphing sequence isn’t via the grid its thru ancient Chinese magic lol

If I remember, the characters, Jason, Zack and Trini were already set to be replaced due to contract issues so having Tommy as the new leader made sense since he was already an OG Ranger and VERY popular with fans as the Green Ranger.
Eric isn't just the best 6th ranger, I argue he's one of the greatest power rangers/PR characters of all time. His motivations, passion, his growth and his arc is far greater and more interesting than any other character in Power Rangers.
Also the actor who played him, Dan Southworth, did a phenomenal job portraying him. I couldn't imagine anyone else playing Eric.
I started watching a couple of episodes. The moment I heard his voice. I couldn't help but laugh. Not at him but just at the absurdity of hearing him. He's great.

Eric, Cam and Merrick are definitely the top 6th rangers in my opinion and as I stated in the last video they all deserve their own special.
Ahaha love how unintentionally, the Q-rex vs Dragonzord thing got turned upside down in the current Sentai series, Zenkaiger, in which there's a new zord that's basically the Q-rex and Dragonzord combined. Fun coincidence
Not many people would notice but in the bottom left he's constantly listing out the copyrights and giving the owners credit. Usually youtubers would put it into the description so bravo for putting in all that effort
Eric's Q-Rexzord. It has one thing that the Dragonzord never had, on it's own. It's own Megazord mode.
Always thought it was questionable that Tommy replaced Jason as leader. I've always assumed it was because of the behind the scenes turmoil about their pay.
From what I can recall I believe that’s the truth The red ranger or supposedly the guy who played him Austin St. John was a little disgruntled about how much he was getting paid. Note on this that was the reason and also that was back at the time when they were in a part of the actors union

I still say Zeo Gold and Lightspeed Titanium are the coolest 6th rangers overall.

Wild Force was SO GOOD. I loved that there was like 25 Zords between everyone by the end and the different animals oils just mix and match in a ton of different ways
Eric’s first appearance as the Quantum Ranger was sickkkkk. He had a swagger all his own. A different level of confidence
I thought that Tommy Eventually getting married to Katherine was considered cannon since it does appear in an episode of Zeo where it’s set in the future and Old man Tommy and Kat are retelling a Christmas story to their grandkids.
Dino Thunder was my first Power Rangers show. Always loved the White and Black Rangers aesthetics.
Eric had a lot of character development
Dino Thunder and Ninja Storm absolutely slapped. All the suit designs and story arcs were fantastic. Trent’s White Dino suit and Cam’s Green Samurai suit are top tier. Same goes for the Omega Ranger & Shadow Ranger in SPD. Of course I’m a little biased because that is the era I grew up with and the crossover were amazing and mind blowing back then. Love all the other 6th Ranger suits as well
I'd like to think that somehow Zordon knew that Jason was getting selected to go to the "peace conference". Allowing Tommy time to learn how to be a leader with Jason still there to lean on.
Tommy replaces Jason as leader in story line because of the white light of good.....in reality Austin st John was fired from the show....and since they could only use stock footage, Tommy needed to made leader for screen time purposes
I thought him along with black and yellow rangers quit and weren’t fired, or basically the same thing in acting world, but I know they wanted more pay with all the work they were doing. That was also why during the power change sequence you see Jason, Triny and Zach still morphed because the actors had already quit so they just had the standins stay in costume
Austin St John was probably the one that started the whole conversation of them renegotiating their contracts and a getting raised. They downplay his leadership role in the storyline as part of his overall punishment.
Wild force is my favorite Power ranger series EVER!! no contest, Merik is my absolute Favorite ranger of all time..and I've been watching the franchise since the days of tommy.
Just watched the first part and on this channel for the first time. Never expected it to be put associated as I finished that one
No Cap White Dino is best of his time, on par with legends like the Green Samurai, and Lunar Wolf. I’m still happy he got the chance to be mentored by the Legend himself Tommy Oliver
Great job on this video on the Full Story of the Sixth Rangers part two. It was well done and very interesting. I just would like to know if you will be creating a new video on Sam ( the S.P.D. Omega Ranger). I know that you did a great job on the Shadow Ranger video, but I see Sam as more of the Sixth Ranger of S.P.D.
Because he literally is the actual 6th ranger of that series. Hell its even more confirmed by Gokaiger silver (mega force silvers) vest that has all of the 6th rangers on it. Like Kruger might show up 6th but he isnt the series 6th ranger. Also idk... sam has the number VI on his damn suit.... so like this was just because Kruger was cool lol.

Gah the Ninja Storm, Dino Thunder and SPD sixth ranger designs were so damn badass. Those three years had by the best sixth ranger designs since Green, White and Gold Zeo.
Eric's my favorite 6th Ranger and my favorite male character franchise-wide. When it comes to the other 6th Rangers, I'd say that my top 3 after Eric are Zhane, Mike (if you count the Magna Defender as as a 6th Ranger), and Merrick.
I think that Zordon making Tommy the leader was justified, as he was just as strong as Jason even demorphed, and plus, the actors for Jason, Zack and Trini weren't filming any new footage anymore so Tommy was just the logical choice

I love the Wizard of Deception! It best villain ever created. But I never liked how they treated Jason wrong, when Rocky took over the red ranger powers. That's when tommy should have been announced as the new leader.

Return of the Green Ranger is also 1 of my favorite episodes too, and I think it is 1 of the under rated :)

Eric would always be my favorite Sixth Ranger, just because Quantum Ranger itself is awesome itself, Dan Southworth’s performance is memorable. Plus he and other stunt performers from the show, have Voice Acting Roles in the Video Game Franchise, Devil May Cry.

I kinda wanna see a spin off TV or comic book series of Merrick and Zenaku going on adventures to redeem themselves, it would be a fantastic buddy cop series, plus seeing the actor who played Merrick coming back for a new series or special along with a redeemed Zenaku fighting together would just be great to see
Would point out that while only the "Ninja Power coins" were destroyed by Rita and Zedd, the original Power Ranger's coins (while damaged) were still around, plus the Dragon coin (now at full strength again, thanks to Rita's wizard) was in Tommy's possession but with the likely damage to his morpher (probably similarly damaged like we see Adam's morpher and Mastodon coin later) it probably couldn't be used to activate the coin until the morpher was later repaired (likely just after the events of Dino Thunder)

It sucks that due to budget constraints the planned american exclusive female gold Thunder ranger was never put in the show.
It would be interesting to see a video of the rangers who had more than one ranger color (Jason, Rocky, Adam, T. J., Carlos, and Tommy (Mike wouldn’t count since he never morphed into lg red ranger before getting magma defender powers) (not sure if mega force would be counted since they had access to both teams outfits plus keys for other rangers as well)).

Personally, I believe that Zordon made Tommy the new leader of the team not because Tommy became the White Ranger, but because Tommy showed time and again that at his core, he is good, and nothing will truly change that.

The Dragonzord is sure as shit strong and is fucking classic, but if I'm being real, my money's on the Q-Rex. It has a better arsenal is like twice the size.

I think Tommy and Kat as a couple is canon in the TV show as well.
In Dimensions in danger, Tommy speaks to a J.J (that doesn't appear on screen) and when the Legendary Rangers leave Tommy and Kat are holding hands

Yeah Mystic are great. I also think the mystic megazord is the coolest looking megazord, I love the humanoid zords, and the way they fit together in the megazord is so satisfying and has just this awesome rune aesthetic. They're great

Anubis Cruger/Shadow Ranger was not the Sixth Ranger of SPD. The Omega Ranger was the Sixth Ranger. You can tell by their uniform. Shadow Ranger has a "100" on his uniform. Omega Ranger has "VI" on his uniform, roman numeral six. As well, canonically speaking, the Shadow Ranger is an Extra Ranger.

Having strong new powers was one thing, but Jason is the only character I can see leading the Mighty Morphin Team.

Doggie Cruger should not be in this list. He is the Mentor and Comanding Officer of SPD. He is not the 6th Ranger of the team. Check out the Wiki on the season and the article on the character. The SPD 6th Ranger is the Omega Ranger. And it’s Emperor Grum, short u sound, not groom.

Also look at the article on Wiki about Anubis “Doggie” Cruger he is never called “ the 6th Ranger”. He is the SPD commander and the teams mentor. It’s made very clear from the end of Sam’s first two part story that he is The sixth Ranger. And as it turns out he is the Omega Ranger. Also watch Super Megaforce and look real close at the helmets on Orion’s armor the SPD helmet is Omega not Shadow.

i like the idea of the sixth ranger teamup episode, but i want a sort of mini series of episodes with all the colors of rangers teaming up individually, another group of reds, an episode with all yellows, one with all green/black, one with all the blues, etc., and after they al go their separate ways to deal with various galactic emergencies, something happens on earth that requires the attention of all the silvers and golds
Well if you remember in the christmas episode of Zeo, it had showed that Tommy and Catherine had gotten married, and he was telling a story to his young grandson or young son, and the eldest came in saying he had to go. So I would take Soul of the Dragon as cannon.
