  • How many old pieces of glass wear do you have? What sits around in your china cabinet that you can upcycle?
    Well today, I am using the finer pieces of glass to create beautiful bird baths, and a not so useful material for bird feeders...
    Come along and watch, I've gone to the birds!

    You are very sweet and kind and it is so fun to talk about the "old days" - the older I get, the more nostalgic I am. I found some carnival glass and some crinkle glass which reminds me of the old days. So wonderful and we are helping God's creatures.

    I also love taking care, feeding, and watching all of the outside critters! My indoor kitties also enjoy watching all the action! I’ve done similar items for butterflies and hummingbirds using interesting looking wine bottles (turning upside down) and glueing a shallow plate. I place bottle upside in dirt of potted plant and arrange the leaves/flowers around it.

    I'm very crafty and trash the treasures. I just had an idea your big. Vase at the bottom that stuck to the bottom blade. You could put a scenery in there like some dried flowers. Spray them with a lacquer or something so that they'll stay stiff and over time. The heat won't make them get all curly and funky. And you could put them in there. Make a little arrangement in there and that would be beautiful in the middle of that big. Flower pot flower vase that you have.I think II like Moore's better.That's what I like.I'm 74 and I always like a lot of embellishments but um, I think that would be nice.I'm going to try it like that

    Hello just found your channel. I totally enjoy my first video. And your idea on how to feed the birds, with peanut butter. Thank you and for sure will do the same 😊. I look forward to to seeing more of your videos. I too am an animal person, except for bugs I have phobia of them. Any ideas on getting over my phobia.

    I've seen a lot of people using GLASS . I saw yours and have two questions. Don't you have gusts of wind around you area, pets etc. Made of all glass is would brake a the slightest tip. Having said that it seems that one would need WEIGHT at the base to make it more firm.

    • @KitrynMarie
      @KitrynMarie  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I anchor it in the ground. I adhere a heavier base and bury in the ground so it cant be knocked over.

    An advice, put a small stick in the middle of the toilet paper, the birds will have something to stand to eat this delicious food

      I have found that any kind of dogs can learn to get along with cats, some even love them dearly. That includes a Doberman whose owner hated cats and sicced him on cats. I got him when he was 2 and he instantly understood that harming my cats wasn’t allowed. He ended up loving them. Second Dobie also loved cats. The chow shepherd mix was fine with them. The pit lab mix I got from the pound really wanted to chase them at first, but really quickly got the idea that was not allowed, and she and the cat have been together 13 1/2 years now. These were all adult dogs. I have introduced a number of puppies into my weird pack, and all of them bond with cats. I understand that racing greyhounds may be difficult because of their training to chase small, fuzzy things, but some can adjust. And many boxers get along fine with their feline companions.
