I have a Woodpecker family that I'm in love with currently. But I get all the basic backyard variety and had many hours of joy watching the bird pairs come, eventually with their babies, and now alot have migrated on. Some of the babies are still hanging around since their parents raised them here. I just love them all am my heart hurts with all the habitat destruction that is occurring. That's one reason our backyard havens for feeding and watering are so important!!! Thank you so much for these wonderful 💡
Am loving your ideas! Clever use for margarita glasses! I picked up an inexpensive soldering iron for $6 from Harbor Freight, works great to melt holes in plastic quickly. And you are sooooooo right about rinsing off bagged rocks! Super clever use of splatter screen, wreath & pot feeder! The older my sweet hubby and I get, the more we enjoy watching birds! One Saturday evening, we enjoyed watching chickadee parents tag-team deliveries of yummy worms, bugs, and seeds to their noisy, hungry little chicks. I asked my husband if he would rather go out dancing or do anything else. We both laughed and remained just where we sat. Keep your bird ideas coming! And thanks for sharing. 😊🐦⬛🦉🕊️🐦
I love the husbands idea. Actually all were cute. I didn’t know hummingbirds drank regular water!?! I tell you these birds out here are eating like I owe them something. 🥴 I’m always filling these feeders sometimes within the next day. I know it’s not any wild animals because I live in a townhouse and I’m sure they would be frightened. I priced a bigger feeder and right now between their food, dog food and my food it’s not happening! 😞 This looked fee’s able.
I love the bird bath ideas! I would also love some with water pumps (they’re not expensive) & solar water 💦 fountains also not expensive… thank u! I’m a first time viewer! Great ideas! Dayton,TX
I came across your channel and really enjoy outdoor crafts & ideas that you have shared for birds. I feed birds and thank you for sharing. I would love to see more like these! ❤ i just started acquiring the Hummingbirds coming around to eat. I love them, Finches, Cardinals and crows use my birdbaths out front. They are such intellìgent birds. We do get the sometimes nasty Bluejays. I feed whatever comes around to eat and drink the fresh water. I enjoy all of them.❤
Here's an FYI a friend gave me. If you have bird baths out. Please place a rock (if you can) in with the marble rocks. Because bees can't get a grip on the marble rocks. And they can't swim, so they will drown. I've watched a few videos on YT that have said the same thing. Your birdbaths are cute
If you want to see hummingbird fountains watch Robbie and Gary gardening. She feeds hundreds of birds and has hundreds of feeders and water features she makes for them. TKS for sharing your ideas ❤
Love the splatter screen as a drainer for the bird feeder! I love love love listening and watching my birds in my yard. My favorite bird is the small but fearless wren. THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR GREAT IDEAS! Give your husband a hug for coming up with the idea of the Dollar Tree splatter screen!
Hello! I am new to your channel. I love home decor/garden/organization and storage DIY. I love watching birds. My favorite one is the floral wreath bird feed.❤🌞🐦
🇯🇲😁 yes, I love your videos. 🕊️ 🐦 I try to entice the birds to come to visit too. I love watching them. I tried with 🦋 butterflies too, but they almost ate me out of house and home. They ate those expensive milkweed sooooo fast.🇯🇲😁
I made a bee feeder out of an upcycled jar after poking holes in the lid. I set the jar filled with sugar water upside down on a saucer (any plate, shallow bowl, etc.) with a few stones. Works great.
I really loved this diy video its practical and fun to make with my 9 yr. Old grandaughter! You have wonderful ideas! I am so glad i found you on yt. I love birds we have cute little red finches here in Arizona and doves as well😍🐦😘
Hello from Michigan this was my first time watching and I enjoyed all the feeders and baths you made. I to enjoy watching and feeding the birds my two cats enjoy watching them out the window which I call kitty tv.🕊️
Hi! I’m Trish and this is the first video I’ve seen from your channel. I loved it and so will the birds. I have a white cat like yours.... Her name is Hannah.🌞🐈🌸
Love your ideas. I too made feeders with the terrariums. I used a plastic saucer as a rain guard and one on the bottom as a seed catcher. The birds really like them.
Love your ideas & will be doing the bird bath, if it ever stops raining! Just an idea for hanging feeders, bird baths, etc. I take a wire coat hanger, grab the centre of the bottom piece, and pull it away from the "hook" as far as it will go. Then bend that part back until it fits over the branch and using the "hook" to hang the item from. Easy to move to another location as well as to hang the feeder/bath.
Hello I live in England I've started a wild life garden in my front garden with bird feeder and bird bath ,also two pounds. The birds are actually coming to visit it's lovely 😊
Hello. This is my first time watching. I really enjoyed this video. I was just watching the birds this morning as they were looking for water. We've not had rain for a month, so water is scarce. A bird bath is a little dangerous around here since I have a cat who is a great stalker. So a bath hanging from a tree is a good idea. I'm going to subscribe, so keep these wonderful ideas coming! Thank you for all the work that went into this!
Love your videos DIY Hi I'm a retired RN after 37 Y I now have time to do wonderful projects in the outdoors. Well, I guess I could spend a few moments on indoor projects too. I've always been a huge fan of sports especially water sports.
Hi! Just wanted to add,if that’s ok, to pop the bottom off of the planter at the last video, use a circle cutter to make a hole. Then pop the bottom of the pot back on. It’s an easy way to refill your bird seed without having to take off the planter from the splash screen. Hope that helps. 😊😊I love all of your projects!
Also, I wanted to comment on your beautiful white kitty.. Growing up you never saw white cats. In 2001 when we moved near farms I had fed a pure white one named snowball who was part feral. Next thing we had white 😺 show up to eat since they came by from the farms. I adopted and had all white kitties. All the sudden i have seen white cats start showing up on websites that I had never saw before. They are beautiful and they stay so white . Love them ❤❤
The last one. I love 😍 as well...cut a hole at top like a door, place a hinge and latch hook on. Easy way to refill bird seeds. I have fake flowers 💐 on my balcony around my 🐦 feeder they hop happily 😊around. 😊and hummingbirds. ❤
Hi, this is my first time here. My name is Stephanie and I am a single 56 year old woman who loves gardening and love bird watching. I feed the birds quite well. Actually they are spoiled rotten and have quite a few choices. I never forget my silly little squirrels, I love them and feed them too. Most people don’t want the squirrels around their feeders but I welcome ALL animals. I have lived in the country my whole life and I study and practice natural medicine and make my own concoctions and colloidal silver too. Glad I found your channel and hope you do more bird feeders/baths videos
At the moment I've been adopted by a few Canada geese who love my yard but I usually host the typical doves, sparrows, I have a pair of Flickers that are regulars, robins that i don't have to feed, Yay! and closer to April we will have more migrants, gold finches, waxwings, and quail.
I just love the margarita glass bird/bee water bath. I am going to pick up some glasses at the thrift store and put them in my tomatillo garden. The bees will love the bath and the glasses will add a bit of cuteness to my garden.
I always try to teach people whenever you are making a birdbath and putting it out. Be sure to make a rock bath for the pollinators and the bees the butterflies because these are the ones that often end up drowning in the bird baths trying to get a drink. Nobody really ever remembers the bees in the bugs and I have such cute ones that I’ve made throughout the years and have taught children, including my own 20 some years ago on the importance of saving the bees and I called the rock that is so important especially if you do have a regular bird bath. #rock bath #save. The bees!!
I Love feeding the birds all year round! But in the winter I also feed the Rabbits, the Deer & Squirrels!! They promised they won't eat my flowers come Spring & Summer!! They haven't yet in the past 10 years I have lived here in Baxter MN!! I don't have the biggest yard front or back but I Love ideas for making my little friends comfortable!! More please!!!
This was so fun to see, love watching bird's. In front of my craft table I have to big tree, so I will be redoing some of these feeder's and bath. thank you for sharing, have a nice day and stay safe !

And while i find it hilarious watching the squirrels rying to get into my feeders, they are little piglets. i found that if i keep a couple of feeders that are specifically for them they pretty much ignore the bird feeders. in the bird feeders i keep different kinds of feed so that i attract a variety of different birds. but in the squirrel feeders i keep a mix of cracked corn, sunflower seeds, and peanuts. the bluejays & cardinals also enjoy this. it's fun watching them squabble to see who gets to eat first. on the ornament one that you made. even though you are worried about the water it may collect if it rains. take out the plug. the moisture it will collect daily from condensation will rot the food much quicker. it will need that air flow. you can hang it on your porch or somewhere close so that it's easy to take down if it's going to rain.

I live in a somewhat wooded area and I can sit and listen to and watch birds in general.
I love red birds, blue birds, and the little bitty brown birds that flit around my deck!

Your birdbaths are cute
The decorative rocks or pebbles help bees as well from being drowned.
If you want to see hummingbird fountains watch Robbie and Gary gardening. She feeds hundreds of birds and has hundreds of feeders and water features she makes for them. TKS for sharing your ideas ❤
Yes. She's great. FYI that's a splatter guard not strainer
On the last feeder put a large hole on top of small planter and cover with a plastic lid like from a food container

I tried with 🦋 butterflies too, but they almost ate me out of house and home. They ate those expensive milkweed sooooo fast.🇯🇲😁
On the mesh feeder, you could also use heavy filament or fishing line to "sew" the mesh to the wreath.
Love your bird feeder and baths🐝🦋🕊
I made a bee feeder out of an upcycled jar after poking holes in the lid. I set the jar filled with sugar water upside down on a saucer (any plate, shallow bowl, etc.) with a few stones. Works great.

I love watching people do these things. My gang of crazy squirrels are the reason me and the birds can’t have nice things. 😊
I'm loving these ideas! We have dogs that like to drink the bird bath water, or chase the birds off, so these are perfect for what we need! Thank you!
Thank you so much, Georgia! 😄 I bet our pup would have done that too if she could have reached them lol. I hope you have fun making yours💕
So cute!!!! ❤
I love your crafts and I love birds
Hi, new subscriber from central New York🌸

Everything you do, is so nice, awesome and looks doable to me.
I just love the margarita glass bird/bee water bath. I am going to pick up some glasses at the thrift store and put them in my tomatillo garden. The bees will love the bath and the glasses will add a bit of cuteness to my garden.
Adorable, good ideas

I’m really enjoying the birds this year and it’s so beautiful that I’m making them their own feeder
Love all the crafts you did! I love to see backyard seacoast.
I liked all but really liked the margarita glass! Such a clever idea. Thank you!
I Love feeding the birds all year round! But in the winter I also feed the Rabbits, the Deer & Squirrels!! They promised they won't eat my flowers come Spring & Summer!! Thank you so much, Christine💕💖 That would be so cool to watch birds while crafting🥰. I hope you have fun making yours! -Hugs
I know this video is 9 mos old but I just found it. I'm from Texas and my disabled niece and I love birds. My niece Norma loves taking lots of pictures of our birds as we sat outside every morning watching them. I make bird nest using balloons and clay.. I love feeding birds so I really love this. Going to Dollar Tree to see what I can find to make feeders and bird baths. We have four feeders (store bought) and one bird bath but I want to make some. I would love to see more so I hope you have others. Thank you... Dusty and Norma🌻🐦
Love your projects, the pace that you show them at, and the idea of reusing items I have or can get from Salvation Army. I'll be using some of these for a church craft for our kids!
those are cute bird feeders, I just bought some bird feeders but thinking of how to DIY some as well
Great idea I love birds, I've been watching a bald eagle in a huge evergreen tree. He is gorgeous! I feel a special blessing when I can watch him. 🥰
i have a cluster of about 10 bird feeeders in one place. mostly bc i only have 2 small trees in my yard and when i put shepard hooks out it attracted raccoons ( live in the country ), and they actually have broken them trying to get to the feed.
These are really cute I will have to microwave my feed so that it does not grow roots and anything underneath but they are beautiful thank you for the ideas they are great!
First visit…I think. I love birds…make bird baths, crafting, painting crafts, work with wood diy, gardening, refinish furniture. Live in So cal.
