Nice vid guys thanks. Also Mike's insights about playing vs low level non-GTO opponents is excellent, thanks for those added insights! BTW: Found this from link inside the Upswing Lab.
Ibrwally love your content. In live so much that i wuold subscribe the upswing according with my Bank roll. Just a question: the module in the video are made with the same format? I try to explain: is there the same Summer slide that TH-cam in the TH-cam format? Tu so much
Hi, I'm not sure I understand your question but I think you're asking if the modules in the Lab also have slides with text to help you follow along? The answer to that question is that some of them have slides while others have different visual aids.
for high paired boards, are you sure about a range bet? What about when the non-pairing card is really high (eg AAK)? Surely our underpairs like queens or jacks, which are marginal made hands, don't really have much incentive to bet? They don't need to be worried about protection, given that overcards are already on the board, and they will defo get some value, but not a whole lot?
How come gto wizard is checking à lot more up to 50% on many of the high paired flops? And on 22 and 33 flops betting much more often upto 90%/range bet
Tough to answer without seeing their specific sims. Could be that their rake structure is high so the BB's range is stronger. Could be that you're looking at a different positional matcup. Or could be that those particular GTOW sims have a relatively high exploitability level and needed to be ran for longer (which happens sometimes on that product from what I've heard).
I usually back everything up in these podcasts with referencing a solver, and there aren't any multiway solvers that I have access to, but my intuition tells me that first and foremost there are going to be almost no scenarios where you want to rangebet on any paired boards, maybe if you're 3 ways to the flop but 4/5/6+ ways I wouldn't be rangebetting. Obviously when there are more players in the pot the likeliness of someone else holding trips increases, even on a good board for us like AA6 rainbow. To go one step further, instead of cbetting, say, 50% of the time on 655, this frequency will drastically decrease because this is a bad paired board for us, and lots of those callers can for sure have a 5 in their hand. In summary - I don't think we should ever bet always on any paired board multiway, and on the bad paired boards we should be checking even more! PS keep your eyes peeled for some multiway flop discussion VERY soon :)

Fantastic content would it be possible to do any content as the pre flop aggressor but out of position
My previous comment was for 3 bet pots

Great freaking Pocast..
people say Wednesdays are Ahsoka days. I say Wednesdays are Level-Up days.
i just bet based on whether I have positional advantage, though i will 1/3rd alot of these kinds of boards.

Good board to call down persistent bluffers
👌
My question is..... does this strategy work when it's multi way? 3-4 ppl/callers?
