@@LorenzoClara97 Racing school 101, thats the proper seating position. Elbows close to 90 degree angle. Look at F1 drivers seating position and or even Nascar.

Es ist immer wieder erstaunlich, wie schlampig bis dumm sich sogar so erfahrene Leute wie Christian Gebhardt teilweise verhalten, bevor sie eine mit so großem technischen Aufwand vorbereitete schnelle Nordschleifenrunde angehen.
Es ist ein Unding, vor dem Losfahren nicht zu überprüfen, ob sich vielleicht noch irgendwelche Gegenstände im idiotischen "induktiven Ladefach'"-Kram befinden, die während einer schnellen Runde schließlich auch herausfallen und dann sogar auch hinter die Pedalerie gelangen könnten...
Mich macht das nur noch sprachlos, wie schlampig sich solche Leute teilweise IN IHREM JOB verhalten (dürfen)...
C. Gebhardt spricht meiner Meinung nach schwer für ein verhätscheltes Einzelkind, dem man früher alles nachräumen hat müssen.
So etwas passt aber wiederum perfekt in unsere saudämliche Zeit, voll von verhätschelten, dämlichen, verhaltensauffälligen Einzelkindern auf TH-cam.

No crazy difference over the M4 Competition from 2021 though.
The Mc20 is the biggest disappointment. Its basically a supercar with the worst Track performance ever

@@mTwMarco Beides. Dafür dass der CS auf dem Papier 40 PS mehr hat war er jetzt nicht weltbewegend schneller als der Competition xDrive im Jahr 2021

Because these videos are secondary to pushing paper magazine and believe it, or not, people want to read about cars even during winter months, when the track's closed.

@@mikeypv6 They're not competing with anyone. The value of sport auto's lap times is consistent methodology (one warm up lap, one hot lap) and the same driver every time.
Besides, they test M3s/M4s all the time, with how many versions there are. It doesn't hurt to shift this one back half a year.

What’s the difference between both variants?
You can see on the video the timing starts just before the first corner but ends just after the last corner so that 200m straight is missing.

Is there a reason why he use 4wd instead of 4wd sport? i own a G80 Xdrive as well and i think the 4wd sport has faster high end power.
BMW recommend that setup.
4wd sport would be too much oversteer. If the BMW testdriver tell you: 4wd is the qickest, then you drive 4wd mode. SportAuto Times are done in only 3 Laps. So there is no time for trying out different modes.

This journalist in question is less than 6 seconds behind the official time of the GT3 RS 992 made by Porsche. Do you honestly think that an M3 is more advanced to drive ? Let me laugh...

Why not except that the GTR has evolved and the 2013 version was 7'18 which means that your M4 CSL is only 3 seconds ahead of a 9 year old grandma ! And otherwise in 2014 there was the Nismo which did 7'08 and which is still 5 seconds ahead of the M4 CSL despite its 8 years...

The BMW is super popular now, the latest and greatest M3 CS, track oriented... 550 on paper, 580++on dyno. Twin turbo twin scroll, 15 years newer and better. the new B series in G series......

Ok, und also wieder das gleiche Spiel! Eine Supertestrunde mit einem “extrem” gut im Futter stehenden BMW Pressefahrzeug! Und wieder ist es der Zeitung keine explizite Erwähnung - geschweige denn eine Mahnung - wert. Das gezeigte Fahrzeug hat lt. eigener Leistungsmessung der sport auto wieder 33 PS (+6,6%) und über einen weiten Drehzahlbereich (3200 - 5900U/min) auch wieder durchweg 20NM mehr als für die Serie angegeben. Und wieder schweigt sich die Redaktion über die offensichtliche Testverzerrung aus. Und das, obwohl es im gleichen Heft zum zuvor veröffentlichten M2-Supertest eine ganze Reihe verärgerte Leserbriefe hagelte. Wir erinnern uns, der trat sogar mit einem Leistungsplus von +10,6% zur Serienangabe an… Sorry, aber so gefährdet Ihr meiner Meinung nach Euer Renommée als unabhängige Testinstanz und vergrätzt Eure Leserschaft; - denn das ist schon eine bißchen arg offensichtliche Wettbewerbsverzerrung! Und bevor jetzt gleich wieder das Gejammer der Bimmergemeinde losgeht: Ja, BMW-Motoren sind bekannt für Ihre Positivstreuung - aber diese vorbereiteten Pressefahrzeuge gehen darüber weit hinaus. Der wurde bei Aulitzky auch mit 576ps/676nm gemessen.
So lange der Kunde die Leistung erhält sehe ich da kein Problem.

Sorry aber die Dinger sind viel zu überteuert. Im Kern ist es ein normaler M3... Schaut euch mal den Preis an. Ein normaler GTR ist sogar ca. 20 Sekunden schneller, da hat man wenigstens einen richtigen Sportwagen.
"Competition, CS" etc. einfach Bezeichnungen um den Leuten mehr Kohle abzuziehen
Schau mal auf was für eine Basis der M3 basiert und ein GT R.
Die M Fahrzeuge verkaufen sich sehr gut und du bist einfach nicht die Zielgruppe dafür 😉
